If it wasn't for Ms Augga's patience, dedications and passion for her dancers, my daughter would be what she is today.

I have such gratitude for the YMCA. Their affordable adaptive swimming classes gave my autistic…read morechildren water safety skills and confidence in the water which has given me an unquantifiable amount of peace of mind. On top of that, we couldn't be happier with our new family membership. My kids love the kids zone and frequently ask to go there. The swimming pool has been a great addition to our weekly routine, and the kids night out events have allowed my husband and I to have regular date nights for the first time in a decade. My kids are really excited to get signed up for YMCA summer camp, too. YMCA programs have really helped my family thrive. My only wish is that the kid zone would expand their hours. It's tough for working parents to have dinner and get there before they close on weekday evenings, and even harder on the weekends because they close at lunch time on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. And once the kids have finished their weekend sports engagements, there is just no time. I would be willing to pay more for after hours kid zone access!

I just moved here, so I am looking at Yoga classes and workout areas in various "gyms". I am 76,…read morebut have been doing yoga for years. I don't want to go to an early class, or an after dinner one. But that's when the regular classes are offered. The only ones a little later in the morning, are chair yoga! Really! Not all seniors have to be in those... But I have seen some reviews by Seniors that complain about the high fees here - Actually, a lot of Medicare plans pay for exercise programs - my Premera Supplement does - so I hope the Y takes some of those FYI!

My daughter is a competitive dancer at Pilchuck Dance Academy(P2) in Marysville WA. She started…read moredancing there at the age of 4, she is now thirteen. This will be her 6th year on the competition team. In those 6 years she has performed in Disneyland, Las Vegas, The Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Seaside Oregon, as well as many local regional competitions. In Connecticut our little studio from Marysville took on the big studios from New York, Boston,  and Washington DC and won a national title. The excitement on the kids faces was priceless (the parents too for that matter). Last year we performed at Benaroya Hall for the 8th annual Jump Session Show. The kids got to perform with dancers from around the world to raise money for charity. After the show the director of Benaroya sought out the P2 kids to tell them how professional they behaved, and that came from the other performers too. The kids and studio were invited back next year on the spot!      The teachers there have done a wonderful job transforming all the kids into great dancers. The kids have great respect for the teachers as well as the teachers do for the kids. My daughter is doing all forms of dance: Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Point, Modern, And Hip Hop. In the past she has not liked Tap or Hip Hop but Jovon and Rodney have made it fun but at the same time tough.      I have not written a  review for anything before but I am writing this one because I want to counter some of the other reviews I have read. Most of those have come from disgruntled teachers and parents that have left the studio or been asked to not come back. The people that hide behind the anonymity of a phony screen name to make negative comments need to get a life. This is a great place for your child to learn to dance, just for fun or competitively.

My children really enjoy this dance studio! They love to work hard and all the teachers are…read moreamazing!! highly recommend!!
