There were too many young girls in one class so the atmosphere was chaotic. We decided to take her out prior to the group beginning to learn a new routine for the next recital. Overall, she only attended twice. 2 months later, I began receiving threatening invoices demanding payment for the 2 months prior. I called and said I wouldn't be paying. I was told that even though they knew I dropped and even filled the spot that my daughter left, that since I didn't come in and fill out a drop card, but instead notified them over the phone that she was dropping, that they could and would keep charging me. I was outraged.... eventually, they sent me to collections, ruined my credit, and I ended up paying over $400 for 2 dance classes.... all because the person on the phone didn't tell me I needed to come in and drop the classes in person. Their business is located in an industrial garage. It's not comfortable or nice. There is really nothing positive that I can say about it.

I am deeply disturbed by my experience at Red Curtain's youth summer production of Bat Boy…read more This was a Summer Stars production performed by students ages 10 to 18. During the show, children portrayed a scene involving rape and domestic violence. I had not been warned that this specific content would appear. As a survivor, I could not physically remain in the theater and had to leave. Red Curtain's advertising described the production as PG-13 and warned of "mature themes, blood, and gore." The Summer Stars page referred to "sexual references, implied drug use, mild profanity and adult situations." None of those phrases tells a patron that the production depicts rape, sexual assault, or domestic violence. There is an enormous difference between objecting to challenging art and asking for an honest content warning. I was not demanding that the theater remove the material. I was saying that survivors and parents deserved to know what they and their children would encounter before purchasing tickets and entering the theater. When my husband raised this concern directly with the director, Scott Randall. He told him that "mature material" does not ordinarily communicate rape or domestic violence and that survivors should have been allowed to make an informed decision. Rather than acknowledge the concern or show compassion, he smiled and dismissed him. A specific warning would have required one sentence. Other productions of Bat Boy have explicitly warned audiences about sexual assault, rape, and domestic violence, so the need for such a warning should not have been a surprise. Red Curtain chose vague language instead, then its director treated a survivor's distress as though it were unworthy of serious consideration. That response was cruel, irresponsible, and completely inconsistent with a theater that publicly describes itself as a safe and inclusive community. I will never attend another production at Red Curtain.

The resort held the rehearsal dinner in one of their private banquet rooms for about 30 people, and the experience was immaculate. It's easy for service to slip when a huge resort narrows its focus down to a smaller private room, but the catering team was prompt, courteous, and the food was outstanding. Beyond the event, the entire staff--from the concierges to the team on the casino floor--was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The casino area itself felt surprisingly quiet and relaxing. We also really loved the beautiful art and history exhibits showcasing the rich culture of the Tulalip people throughout the property. We traveled with our 2-year-old daughter and booked a Deluxe King. The room was spacious enough that we easily slid the couch next to the bed to create a perfect, cozy "crib" setup for her. Whether you're staying for a major event or a quick getaway, Tulalip handles every detail with top-tier care. Highly recommend!

This was booked by my wife so I went in blindly and wasn't able to do my usual research. I'm huge on making sure places are safe for us as a queer and black couple. We stayed in a suite on the 12th floor. Beautiful room and view. VERY CLEAN. We were able to book a couples massage. The spa was probably the best thing about the entire experience except for a few oddities here and there. The woman we checked in with at the spa was nice enough or least she seemed that way until she thought we weren't going to tip her. Very awkward exchange toward the end but before that we loved the spa and sauna, and the masseuses. Here it is five days later and I'm still relaxed! The relaxation room wasn't very clean and it's where you have to eat (salads and drinks were yummy). The chairs either need to be replaced or steam cleaned. We only got to eat at one restaurant because the two we would have chosen were closed on the days we were there. Journey's East had okay food and the service was nothing to brag about. Just kind of felt like we were sitting in a cafeteria. The pizza place a few steps down (blazin paddles) was delicious. Also, loved the bartender. We also loved the cafe that was open 24 hours. Thumbs down for cedars cafe. Everything on my plate was overcooked. My wife's omelet was overstuffed with raw peppers so she eventually gave up on it. We didn't complain much as honestly only two staff member's in the whole resort made us feel welcomed. We did decide to swim on the first day. I was not a fan of the guy at the door. He was super snarky when we asked general questions about the pool area before we went to our room to change into swimwear. Outside of the resort, I really enjoyed the outlet. I would for sure go back to shop. Ppl there also seem to like Galbi burgers so we stopped by. I would visit Tulalip again for the right concert or market as well. Overall, it wasn't the best (or worst) experience. I also can't say that I felt super safe or comfortable (in the resort) but we made the best of the trip and found enough of it to be worth the drive and money to maybe just do a day trip next time. The studio owner is dedicated to ensuring that each child is growing and learning at the best challenging pace that they can handle. Many incredible dancers (on a national level) have been produced under the instruction of Ms Augga. The teachers and families are wonderful. I have seen so many life long friendships that have flourished through this studio.

There are some concession stands serving hotdogs, popcorn, nachos, pizza, and drinks. They even have beer and cider. Pricing is on the higher end, which is expected. The arena is located in downtown Everett. Parking is available via Snohomish County Parking Garage, Republic Parking, Everpark Parking Garage, or street level.

They also have large screen TVs flanking the stage, so you can still see well even if your seat is less than ideal. We've visited for a few comedy shows and noticed recently that the seating is more filled owing to good acts coming through. The coming attractions include a wide range of artists including pop and jazz artists, tribute bands, actual touring artists, and even the Seahawks Championship Game (last game before Superbowl, with the expectation that they'll do SB as well). I haven't figured a best parking location: we've found free street parking (weekend after-hour) relatively close by, but spots are not widely available. They run a set of snack counters and separate bars: prices a little high consistent with similar venues, with decent local beer can selections and poured mixers, and the popcorn was tasty. (other food selections available). The neighborhood is clean and bright: it looks like they take effort to reduce undesirables in the area. (Yelp has checked 'food' and 'ambience': I cannot uncheck these, although ambiance is fine. Food is Not a strongpoint here) (4 stars is Above Average and 5 stars are reserved for very outstanding reviews, rarely handed out.)

He informed me that the band canceled months ago, however I was never notified nor was it on their website. John was very matter of fact and never apologized for failing to contact concert goers. He never offered a refund and I had to ask John how do I get my money back and he said you will need to call your bank to get a refund. I can't imagine how many concert goers will show up tonight and be very upset that the doors are locked and the venue is closed for the night. We are longtime supporters of this venue and have been attending their concerts for years. Take caution this is not the theater it use to be now that it is under new management! Seems to me that the "new" Everett Theater is keeping our money when bands are canceling their performance dates rather than sending money back to concert goers. Very dishonest way to run a business. We will no longer attend this venue! Poor customer service.

At the time, we couldn't check it out because we had our dogs with us. The name came up again at the Marysville Strawberry Festival, and when a friend was in town, we decided to give it a try after dinner. While I was born in the 80s, I wasn't exactly hanging out in arcades back then, so this was a bit of a nostalgic first. When you walk in, the walls are lined with pinball machines. There are a few other games scattered around, but pinball is definitely the star here. At the bar, I asked if there was more to the place, and the bartender pointed us to a "living room" behind the bar where you can sit and play Atari or the original Nintendo. The menus came in trapper keepers, complete with the satisfying Velcro sound, which was a fun touch. The guys jumped on the Atari first, but the joysticks didn't seem to work quite right. They moved on to the Nintendo, which was actually a Raspberry Pi loaded with multiple games. After a short stint there, we headed back out to the pinball area. I'm no pinball expert, but we happened to be there during a tournament, and the boys got schooled by some regulars, which made the experience a bit more fun. I also enjoyed the glass case filled with 80s miniatures and artifacts, and the vending machine stocked with nostalgic items like games, books, and snacks you'd expect from that era. Overall, it was a cool concept but felt a bit underwhelming. It's worth checking out once if you're in the area, but it's not a place we'll likely revisit.

After we chose and were having fun he would call out tips to us, as in how to pick up items in the game and use them, apparently in our chosen game you have to remove your mask in order to don a hat. The hour we booked flew by. I highly recommend.
