He seemed knowledgeable when conversing over the phone, and was very strait forward about time frame and cost. His rate was comparable to other inspectors, but he mentioned that he did not mind me being there during the inspection so he could answer questions as he conducted it. Even though I did not plan to spend all of the time with him during the inspection, the option to do so is what made the difference in using his service over others. On the day of the inspection he arrived on time, I arrived later to see how it was progressing and he stopped and walked me through what he had already looked at and made himself available to questions as the inspection continued. When buying a home, most prospective buyers worry about hidden problems with the home, and having this ability to see what is going on can alleviate fears about the property you are purchasing. Once he completed the inspection, this took a few hours, he told me he would e-mail me the report that night. And sure enough it was there as promised. The report was very in depth with sixty pages of detailed information about the house, not just anything bad, but also all the good things that were right about the house. There were pages of pictures, of everything inspected, from the attic and roof, to fixtures and plumbing. Would I recommend his service to others in this area, without a doubt.
