If you are unfamiliar with hospital food you may want to reconsider your preconceived notions. These whipped potatoes are very similar to mashed potatoes in that may have originated as a potato and serve delightfully as a no frills substitute, trust me you will wish you had more or something else. The Pot roast is very consistently cooked and brown and serves a a fat free protein that complements the whipped potatoes. With a bit a brown gravy you will have a beautiful rainbow of earth tones for your taste buds. To continue with our brown theme and also saving the best for last, I suggest dipping a chocolate chip cookie into the what has now become soft serve ice cream, it will soften up the cookie and create something like an MRE ice cream sandwich. Smith.and stated it was in my recent emergency care prior visit to verify my summary and the attention wasn't given and then when I mentioned to Megan her disposition was unprofessional, rude and truly bias and I wouldn't go their late night and expect to get the same care as in the daytime.... that's why nursing homes get bad reputations... being evil just because some people are evil and they like to exploit others weaknesses, so they work were there are vulnerable victims that they can prey upon. i was taken to flower hospita for a-fib when i told 911, i said i didnt want to go. i was ok in…read moretheir truck, they said we are going we are already headed out. but they didnt move until after i said that. at flower hospital they ran tests and then sent me home. the test they did said i had low thyroid which i didnt find out until i checked in mychart. and was told to check with my doctor. so after seeing the test i sent a copy to my doctor and she put me on medication for low thyroi. it made me really sick andi was on it three days. i told her i dudnt have any symptoms of low thyroid and she had me do another blood test at toledo clinic. it was normal. now flower hospital isnt taking any responsibility for their mistake. so i'm not paying the co-pay. that hospital is a joke!

I am always impressed by how personable and caring they are. Lab services, pharmacy and radiology(c-ray, CT, MRI) are right in the premises. There is also an outpatient surgery facility. They also post the prices of those departments and the prices are LOWER than having the same thing done at local hospitals. There are 3 buildings at Secor Road location, connected by hallways. The buildings are not new but they are maintained. There are large parking areas around each building, and they recently added a free valet parking service for impaired patients who need to exit right at the door of a building. I plan to go here whenever possible for my medical care.

It's absolutely amazing that they are able to be so consistently bad when it comes to wait times. If there were an award for amount of time clinics make people wait Toledo Clinic would win hands down every time. It's so frustrating. When I make an appointment for 11:30 I expect to at least be in the doctors office waiting, but no I'm stuck waiting in the main waiting room. Nobody ever has any answer or reason why people wait extraordinary amounts of time either.

I had to have a dialysis graft cleaned out for a clot in my graft. Unfortunately it clotted again and I had to go back and have a tunnel catheter placed for my dialysis. Dr. Margay and his staff did a fabulous procedure and I had no pain, the catheter is working fine and I will have to use it for weeks until my vascular doctor at Promedica can create a new graft. I am always grateful for the care at Regency vascular and they give you an appointment as soon as possible usually the same day. Thanks to the whole team !!!

When I finally got to see NP I explained that Ive suffered with asthma my whole life. Trying to explain what my family doctor does for me I was prescribed an inadequate amount of meds for five days. It's like they're afraid to really help you because they don't know you. In all fairness, they did what they could to help me. If you have a cut finger this is a great place to go.

She also really liked the food! (I saw it for myself and it looked amazing... not typical hospital food!!) The staff members were very caring and provided me with detailed feedback for times my family or I were unable to visit. The doctor on the floor was very flexible in his ability to visit and provide feedback on my mom's needs. My mom's discharge hasn't been as smooth as we 'd like, but we're glad she's home. We're now transitioning with the Ohioans Home Health, so that's a whole other review! Happy my mom's home! UPDATE: My mom received notification from BCBS Michigan that this hospital (St V's) will no longer be included in her network (Really?!!!) but that they would cover her expenses this time.(Thank God for that!) . What is going on with healthcare these days?!! Rant over, but really?!

I was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent. Every staff person I encountered made me feel listened to…read moreand cared for. My ER nurses were magnificent (Andrew, Mallory, Izzy). In Observation my nursing care continued to be top notch (Sydney, Thane). Could not have had better nursing care. I had echo and doplar testing. My techs (Laney, Emma, Shakura) were professional and caring. Very friendly. I was at ease the whole time. When discharged, we got turned around in the hallway. I asked an employee walking into the hall we were in for directions. Not only did he tell us how to get where we are going (Chris, RN Leader) but he stayed with me until my husband got our vehicle and helped me in the car. He definitely went above and beyond for me. Absolutely wonderful care!!
