Tony schlepped the chairs out of our house, then when they were done, delivered them to our new apartment. KUDOS to the guy who can manhandle such things with ease. The fabric selection process was fun; Maria knows her stuff. The chairs were returned in EXCELLENT condition, and to this day (3+ years later) look great. This was a strip-it-to-the-bone job (new padding, new fabric) on some classic, swiveling club chairs that I inherited from my folks -- they have sentimental value as well as now being super comfy. He made the cover out of a much better and heavier material than the flimsy factory cover that came with the boat. It fits great and all the snaps line up. Which is saying a lot as there is probably over 50 snaps on a piece of material that is about 10'x25' with a lot of corners, cut outs, seams and other odd angles thrown in. The window seat cushions were a horrible 1960's pink (really worn and sun as well as water damaged) and the chaise which was my grandmother's was a rust color velvet that was quite worn out and had holes and rips. Kurt made new window seat cushions using my fabric to match my bolster pillows and reupholstered the chaise in a beautiful dragonfly blue velvet that goes much better with our interior.
