However, right now for example, I have been waiting seven days for a response to a medication pre-auth question I had for her and have written twice more- nothing. No response. I have called three times and am on hold so long I must hang up (12-15 minutes on hold before hanging up.) I've had to drive up to the office in the past just to get through to someone. When he had his first appointment with her years ago, she noticed his difficulty with walking, and said that she has patients older than him who walk better. What a cruel thing to say! I called for an appointment yesterday, and she was willing to come into the office early to address a respiratory illness that hasn't been clearing up. She was very kind, intuitive, and agreed that an aggressive treatment plan was the best thing for me. I was able to get my exam, chest x-ray, breathing treatment, steroid shots, and lab work done in the same building within an hour. You don't see that much in a healthcare setting anymore. The office staff was also friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

It's a bonus that he always has a pleasant demeanor and is upbeat and funny. His office staff are absolutely the best. Jamie, Dawn, Sherry, and Adrianne have never been anything but kind, patient, and understanding. They truly make a patient feel special, cared for, and well looked after. (I see them every week, as I get allergy shots in the office.) To say that they go above and beyond would be an understatement! I've never been so impressed with a medical practice. It should be noted that I'm presently without health insurance - they're very discreet and incredibly thoughtful about helping me keep expenses down. Call today...waited 15 minutes on phone before being disconnected. Call back again..finally speak with someone that has reached out to my provider just as they have done through the app. Great...wait...wait...wait and hope it gets fixed. Very frustrating. Trying to take charge of my health but jumping through hoops to fix their problem to help me. I've tried leaving a message for the doctor and the person on the phone refused. Tried through social media...crickets. Tried again through the app...crickets. Seems like they've gotten too big. Any recommendations for a new doc in the area?

That alone was worth seeing him for! He did a fantastic job on my surgery, took the time to speak to me and my husband prior and answer questions. He had poor bedside manners. He belittled other doctors and he undermined my genuine concern. I asked him if he would be doing my surgery in entirety by himself or if there are residents/trainees involved since I do not wish the residents or fellows to do any surgery on me. I understand teaching hospital and I understand training but in this particular surgery I did not wish trainees to work on me. I am scared of robots and it's personal. He could have said sorry my trainees depend on me to teach them and all patients of mine have trainees experience. I would have said thank you but no thanks and left. But instead he started using cutting remarks and mocking my intelligence as well as my concern.He said " residents come and go. It's not that I would leave to have tea with one of your colleagues while residents are doing surgery ". All I wanted was him to tell me if it was possible to not have any trainee at the console of da Vinci robot during the length of the surgery because I as a patient am not comfortable otherwise. Was I asking for too much? And he could have said no and we would have parted ways and I would look for another surgeon. But he had to be sarcastic and demeaning.
