Allowing and supporting this kind of gossip is totally unchristian and when I tried to say anything I was not permitted a word but called names and downgraded by the lifeguard. Had a friend with me another time when I was yelled at by lifeguard over all kinds of things not even related to the ymca. I needed this yet the director and lifeguards all participated in this gossip and making me feel sick from their constant looking for anything to come after me for while the gossiper enjoyed gloating and turning a whole group against one person with gossip, outright lies, and sharing only parts of conversations that made her look good.

The first week went pretty well, but by halfway through the second week our boy was having problems with the potty. He seemed to be taking steps backwards in terms of training. Prior to enrollment, we had very few accidents. Once he was enrolled at Daisy Mae, he was having major accidents every day. He also became more confrontational with the classmates. When we were alerted, we explained that he responds better to timeouts, but she refused to use that style of corrective action. This led to further bad behavior. We had also just moved to the area and had trouble getting our son's medical records within the 30 day time period. We asked for a short extension to get the records, but they refused. Since leaving Daisy Mae, our son has had nothing but compliments from the staff at the YMCA daycare. He has had no potty accidents and continues to thrive there. I fully recommend the YMCA day care over Daisy Mae.
