Lots of sports competitions internally and with other camps. Lots of goal setting for personal growth of each individual camper. Lots of fun, creative evening programming. Daily activities are great and the facility is just beautiful ( that water front is amazing). Nice balance between structured activities and more non structured free choice activities/ down time. My children adore everything about Kawaga. They have made great friends from all over the USA who they look forward to re connecting with each summer. The teachers were excellent, patient, knowledgeable, and created a very welcoming enviroment. By the end of camp my daughter was able to handle the horse around the barrels, and to this day talks about the horse she had while she was there. I very much look forward to taking her back next summer.

The staff is great. The food is great, The counselors are amazing. The scenery is the best in WI. The camp is run so well. My son went to a different camp this year because his friends wanted him to join them. The camp was very sad compared to Manitowish and run very poorly. So when you have something to compare it to Manitowish looks even better. Also, they have great scholarships if you are in financial need! Big bonus. These camp memories will last forever!
