After hearing glowing reports of the level of care, the individual attention paid to each patient, and the warmth and compassion shown each and every visit, I was compelled to write a review for Summit Physical Therapy and Sports Care in Montvale, NJ. What stood out most about this place is that they are genuine, caring, and extremely competent. In fact, they have a miraculous anti-gravity treadmill and an Elgin for Dorsey Plantar and Inversion Eversion resistance exercises that is superb. With the state of the art equipment and a fantastic attitude toward patients, this place is definitely unique! And how often does one find all these assets at one single place??? Gael within three sessions made me moving my arms, my upper body and within 5 weeks I had no pain at all .She taught me some movements to do , to stretch and avoid any pains or inflammation as soon as I could feel some tensions. I never went back to her for this pain. Several years ago , I pinch a nerve in my lower back, doing a basic and common movement of everyday life. I stayed for 3 weeks not doing anything with this back pain, and got an inflammation from lower back to my glut to my leg.Gael, treated me and taught me several keys movement to release me... It can get pretty busy and you can easily be there for over 1.5 hours so you have to communicate with staff and monitor your time. The space and equipment are dated but do the job. You kinda get early 2000s vibes. On my first visit though, I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time which was not fun. The person at the front desk never apologized either which made it worse. Her tone and means of communication were a bit off-putting both in person and on the phone if you're sensitive to the nuances. The other front desk person was fine. Parking is easy. Near Costco and Target. They have another location in west Nyack.
