He took wife's name and number with a promise to have have someone call. They never called. I finally caved and saw my primary care who directed me to see a physical therapist. I found this practice through Yelp and took a chance. Dr. Urvater is patient, listens to my concerns, and helped me get on to my road to recovery. I am literally pain less, walking on cloud 9 when I leave her office and head to work. Her hands are magic! Her office staff is great as well, so sweet and helpful on the phone and when she checks you in upon arrival. I am so happy I found Dr. Urvater and would definitely refer her to anyone who needs a physical therapist.

Unfortunately the public space in front of the building is not welcoming......Handicapped parking in front of the nail salon and not Access PT. Other two handicapped parking spaces are in front of the hardware store a distance away. Additionally "sidewalk" in front of facility is uneven bricks which is a real danger if you must use a walker or cane. Instead of asking me what happened, he had already made up his mind and told me my behavior was incredibly innapropriate and I was not welcomed back at the facility. He blamed me for getting upset with his ultra sound tech for administering the wrong test and for questioning me about what the doctor had prescribed. I asked her multiple times to look at my chart. She instead placed blame on me for confusing her and nastily said "Geeze" Like it was my fault for her being confused. She proceeded to try and tell my boyfriend what had happened and never once apologized. The office manager called me to tell me that I was not allowed at the office and that it was my fault for reacting that way. He never took responsibility for the inappropriate and unprofessional behavior that his ultra sound tech had displayed. It was all my fault and they were all innocent. Michael Thompson told me that his ultra sound tech was a highly well like employee and she could not do anything wrong and that it was solely on me. I do not recommend going to this facility.

Your treatment plan could consist of exercises tailored to your issue, manual work on you by the PT, and ice/heat/stim. (Love the compression ice sleeve!) The PTs and aides are really good at what they do, designing a specialized plan for you, being responsive to feedback, and having an awareness of the room. Kudos to Shane, James, Mike, Jordan, Tony and the team for their attentiveness; thank you Shane especially for your professionalism and help! It seems like most PT places have a dated feel to them but this one feels better, perhaps because it is well kept, the signed sports memorabilia on the walls, and the comforting sound of the washing machine running. It's a smallish space so conversations carry throughout the room, so you pretty much hear everything. Not too much privacy if you want that. They also have convenient hours. They are by appointment and have early morning and later times. If you go at a busier time, it gets more hectic and there's a lot more staff multitasking happening. Before you start, they contact you about what you will owe per session. I ended up owing more than initially told (estimate?) which is never a good surprise. Perhaps double verifying ahead of time would be good. This wasn't the cheapest place if you're budget conscious. Parking is easy and they're located right next to Davey's bar.

You are waiting no less than an hour while the nurses and doctors are sitting around gossiping 4. I went to get my PPD read , after waiting 40 minutes to be seen I asked how much longer they said 10 - 15 minutes then said matter of fact I can read it for you now. If you can read it now why was you going to send me back to wait 15 minutes ?! I'm so over this place they will not be seeing me anymore.

My dilemma was that l was scheduled for total knee replacement surgery in two months. The Ospre Physical Therapy Team is my 2 time MVP for exceeding my expectations. My surgeon, family friends, family, and I, as well as former knee replacement patients and neighbors, were all shocked by my "miraculous" recovery time, weeks ahead of schedule. My dilemma was no match for the extremely competent expertise that was delivered by their staff.
