I don't know where to begin but if you are reading this review you do not have to go to any other place but the Norwalk mattress company - they are a family owned business for many years and their mattresses are by far the BEST in the industry - their staff is so helpful and kind and the delivery service can not be beat - however, even if you have an issue a few years later they are there to help you out - The Talalay mattress is not cheap - but you get what you pay for and a mattress should be your top priority - I will be moving to Charleston soon and intend on buying a few more to have shipped down south - they were even so kind as to give me a list of moving companies to check out as they were the best priced in town - WOW - this is the best family owned company and when it comes to getting a good night sleep - look no further but the Norwalk Mattress Company. - I wish I could give them 100 Stars because they so deserve it - thank you!!!!! read more

this was my second purchase with them in 15 years. They are a local company, the staff is very helpful. They even manufacture where you purchase the mattress. Although they may not be as inexpensive as some of the mass merchants, they deliver when they promise. Delivery people were efficient and polite. It was pouring rain when delivery was made. The helped move furniture out of way (and back again). They took away old mattress, let me do a bit of dusting under mattress and allowed me to put the clean dust ruffle on bed before they put on the mattress. Quality of mattresses is very good. Wide range of prices (could've spent from $300 to over $5,000 on mattress). No additional charge for delivery or removal. HIGHLY recommended. read more

I have bought all my mattresses from Norwalk Mattress since we moved to the area 48 years ago! We first bought a crib mattress for our baby, then several queen mattresses, twin mattresses, and even a mattress for a "hide a bed". Also several box springs. My favorite is a latex foam mattress purchased 15 years ago that is still as comfortable as when we bought it! Their delivery people are courteous and professional. There is no substitute for great customer service...and Norwalk Mattress is OUTSTANDING in this regard. Their patience with what is often a frustrating process for people - selecting a mattress they hope will make their life better - is unmatched. It took me visiting twice (and I live out of town) and several phone calls to finally decide on what to purchase, and never once was there an impatient tone or push to sell me something about which I was unsure. As for the quality of their product, it's only been a month, but so far...my family is sleeping much better than before! Be sure to check on this company's warranty before purchasing their mattresses. Their prices are very high and for what you pay they should last 20 years or more. Unfortunately, their mattress springs pop over time (because of inferior quality) so I'd recommend you save your money and purchase from another source. Their product isn't worth the $$$ read more

I bought a cotton mattress and box spring from the Norwalk Mattress Co. almost ten years ago. It still feels as firm as it did on the day I first used it -- when it was delivered to my door by two men in bellhop-style red livery who seemed to step straight out of the 1940s. I feel compelled now to write a review because I just went through the agonizing process of trying to help my friend buy a mattress on the other side of the country. Didn't realize how good I had it. The rest of the world turns out to be filled with haggling salesman hocking cheap foam products, which seem always to be "on sale" for a small fortune. Or internet services that deliver short-term solutions and long-term backaches. This place really is a bastion of sanity. They charge what they charge and they deliver what they deliver: comfortable, solid mattresses that are designed to last. Really, really recommend them. read more
