Also I know the families already have everything they need so I wanted to choose from a place that curated things so I was more likely to find a beautiful gift. I was pleasantly surprised by how big this store is. It is bright and modern with beautiful clothing and a tasteful array of toys. The person working who I think is one of the owners was helpful directing us to their baby section. Also they have adult dresses which I'm guessing matches some of the little girl clothes. I have two boys so I was fawning over the adorable dresses. They also have super cute boy clothes, but my kids are older now. They have a bunch of cute clothes for Gasparilla and Valentine's Day. They definitely have their finger on the pulse of upcoming special events. We easily found cute gifts for both birthdays. They have things at all price points so you won't walk out empty handed. He's now a year old, but I had some onesies from 9 months that he never wore. I decided to bring it in to see if I could return them a year later with no receipt. Good news is, yes, yes you can. Bad news is you get about $2 for it. I have no idea how much they were originally worth. With all the onesies I had, it came out to about $17. We considered for a split second to just keep the clothes, but honestly, what were we going to do with them. My husband started walking around looking at other clothes. I shouted at him, "WE DON'T NEED ANYMORE CLOTHES", which is how we discovered Brett N.'s wife was also shopping in the store. Here we were, at a clothing store, returning clothes, not wanting to buy more. The problem was, if you return clothes with no receipt, you can only purchase things at that time, no store credit. Also, I couldn't purchase some things and then give the rest of the money to Courtney, Brett's wife, who was buying clothes herself. Turns out, they do have Skip & Hop dishware and they were on sale for buy one get another half off. I got two snack cups for a total of $12 (normally $8 each.) That's where I got stuck trying to figure out what to spend the other $5. I ended up buying a random avocado plushie that my son already doesn't care about. Oh well. This isn't the best return policy I've ever seen, but it is far from the worst. Also while we were there, they were having a 50% off everything sale. I think they have some crazy sales so stock up when you see them!

He wants me to purchase the order all over again for $38 all in total then after the payment goes through, he would credit the money BACK to me for the SECOND TIME AROUND. The only good section in the store were shoes . Clothing was so bland that nothing caught my eye which is so disappointing, handbags were 1/5 and no good designer sunglasses. I ended up with a few pairs of great heels but no accessories , clothing etc fir use Service was good abut holy wow if you have to use the bathroom while shopping , run to find someone because the door is only opened with a code. A few days later they charged my card on their own with out me being there or approving that. I had to dispute it with my credit card. If they can pull up your card info and just charge me I only wonder what other shady things they do to other people. Stay far away from this fraudulent store!!!!

I came here one weekend and found some great deals and was super happy with my experience. Even some Goodwill stores have higher prices and Tampa Thrift seems a little more boutique style then it is true thrift so you just have to come in with that mindset, or don't come if you don't like it. What I like that they do here is a lot of big sales. Each day there's a specific tag color that's 50% off, and this is where I found some really great pick ups. They also have one weekend each month where the whole store is 50% off, which is super cool and probably the main time I'll come back. I thought the store was fairly clean overall. They do have a couple dressing rooms if you prefer to try stuff on, and a bathroom. As with most thrift stores, there's at least twice as many women's clothing options then men's. But as a woman I was impressed with the selection and range of brands they had here. They had a good selection of blazers, not only for men but specifically women's too- I found a super nice one almost brand new for $10. There were quite a few shoes as well- sneakers and sandals and in between, I snatched a cute lil pair of heels for like $7. Another nice thing, they had a lot of kids stuff here. I've found at most thrift stores it just depends if they have kids items, especially clothing but they had a whole section here for kids clothes, as well as toys and stuff.
