We know it closed in 10 mins - it would have taken us 2 mins to look, but we were reminded multiple times that they were closing. Cool place to spend your time meandering at the coast. It's big and have numerous vendors so super big selections of oddities you never need, yet always wanted! Friendly staff at the counter and always eager to chat about almost everything. We asked for offered discounts and they said since they are so many vendors, they can't agree on what to offer so you're in rand luck because individual vendors will mark them themselves and you would find out when they ring up at the counter. I got 4 cute crochet towel for kitchen, 2 for $11 or $6 each, an animal monopoly game for $20, an used cup for $1 (and got 10% off on it:), a few earrings for $6-$8 each. read more

The moment I walked in, there were multiple "I voted for the felon" Trump t shirts and it felt very off putting. Additionally, the last time I was in, staff was extremely rude simply because I asked if there was a restroom for an emergency situation. Lastly, the store wasn't clean or organized. The women in there are so rude. We went in there to look around, I found a teacup and hankie that I bought. I tried to make small talk with the older woman who rung me up as I was happily telling her that we got to go to the aquarium for the second time in 25 years. "Well, I have never been there in 25 years it's just too touristy for me." "I'm one of those 'tourists' right now." "Yeah, we know," she said in her most condescending voice. "Interesting. I also live on the coast too." "I'm just an old lady stuck in her ways." "Yeah, we know," I returned the favor. I am never going back there. Rude! April 19, 2021 I went back hoping they had changed. They station someone at the door thinking everyone steals from them. Then I found they ripped me off. They had a lot of handkerchiefs of 3 the tag said $5. Then come to find out they charged $13.50 and they ripped the tag off. Complete and utter horrible business. This is a nail in that coffin, I'm never going back. Rip off business! read more

This is the second time I've been here. The old lady at the front of the store was atrocious. Pretty sure she's super prejudiced against special needs people. She kept asking us if we were watching my adult special needs brother as if he was going to try jumping hurdles through the aisles. Then, I had the audacity to ask after the bathrooms, which are not public. Typically, customers are allowed to use the bathrooms in stores even when they are closed to the public. In an incredibly rude and condescending manner, she told me "No!" I assured her I was going to buy items from the store, and she repeated herself in the same manner. When we went up to pay, she didn't speak to my brother at all, didn't say thank you for coming, didn't say ANYTHING kind or customer service related. Was perfectly fine with taking his money, though. As I was waiting for the rest of my family to pay, I was holding my items as they were bagging the rest up. She held out her hand without saying anything. As they had not finished with the other transaction, I said "Oh, this is a separate purchase." In her same disgusted tone, she responded "Uh, yeah, I know," with an epic eye roll to boot. After a moment of trying to think of how to respond to this bit, I said "I'm sorry if I was rude earlier, I didn't mean to offend you." "You didn't, it's just that people on that side (of the check out counter) seem to think we are stupid," she said in the same manner, grabbing my things. "I don't think you're stupid, I've just been in your position, and there wasn't any room." My dad ended up calling her out for being rude, and she gave no apologies. It must have been that same lady as in the previous review because it's pretty spot on. Next time we are in town, if she's there, I'm not going in. She was atrocious, and none of the other employees did anything about it. read more

It bills itself as an antique mall but I found their items to be of lower quality - lots of old junky objects throughout as well as newer items that really aren't antiques. I probably won't be that interested in stopping by again in the future. read more

Love this place!! They have just about EVERYTHING And ANYTHING you could ever want!! It honestly could take you DAYS to go through this store. I love this store and always find something awesome for my parents, me, friends, family. It is an antique store but you may be surprised at what you find here. At the very least you will take a trip down memory lane!! Every time I go to Lincoln City I make sure I stop at this store on the way up or back. Trust me it is absolutely worth the stop. You can't miss it right off highway 101, it's right there VERY LARGE easy to pull into and plenty of parking. read more

I was steered here from a woman on the bayfront one day when I was looking for glass floats and she let me know about this place. After looking it up since she wasn't sure of the name I found the location and went there. I was a little hesitant to go in at first because it looked like there was a lot of glass and I had two young children with me, I was relieved to see shopping carts and I found the floats right away which I immediately started putting in the cart and was thrilled with the selection. The man at the counter was friendly and helpful he even pointed out japanese glass floats (the older ones) I will definitely be back here for more floats! A must to go to even if just to look around! read more

I had to come back again a week later and bring my wife to show her the interesting inventory of a wide variety of collectables. This is the second time visiting Nostalgia. This time found some nice items. Prices are not as high as other antique malls. Employees are not very friendly/customer oriented but I don't really take points off for that. Large enough place to easily spend a good hour or so looking around. Besides antiques, this place has some ocean souvenir items and tools (a la Harbor Freight), both with reasonable prices. I will definitely visit each time i travel to Newport read more

We found Nostalgia Estate Sales while staying a few days in Waldport, OR and happened to come across it. We vacation on our Motorcycle so we like to find stores like this when we take trips. First impression was great there was so much to see and prices are not bad either. My husband and I found a few things and proceeded to checkout. I found an item without a tag and yes there are signs posted that if it doesn't have a tag it can't be sold. It was a vintage item so I asked the lady (I am guessing owner) if she could possibly call the booth owner and ask about it. She immediately said no (I heard an employee on the phone earlier with a customer that had asked about a price, and they contacted booth owner and got back to him). She said she didn't know where it came from so I told her what booth it was from and she looked at me and said YOU DON'T GET IT! I have to say right at that point if it was not for the vintage never found before item I was buying, I would have left right there. She was rude, loud and not nice at all. I will never shop there again or refer anyone. It's a shame they have a lot of stuff. read more

this is a very large place to look for that missing item in your collection.however..PLEASE check your receipts carefully before you leave.i was over charged and they had the tag to 2 items and i couldn't double check them.! i know for sure one of them was because the tag was a sticker and still on the item! read more
