They will attend to your wish list of house features, but they also pay attention to you during walk-through, and they will remind you of everything you said to ensure you don't talk yourself into a house you weren't actually excited about -- or talk yourself OUT of a house you actually loved. Even when we faced possible hiccups sorting our loan out, the Sams still managed to work with our lender and get everything we needed squared away before closing. Home-buying is stressful, deeply personal, and challenging even when you are familiar with the area, much more so when moving to a new area, as we were. Rick and Abbie made us feel welcome, guided us through the essentials to acquaint us with the neighborhoods, and ultimately got us into our actual dream home. Scott confirmed the appointment the day before. Tyler sent me "I'm on my way" Text with his photo and promptly got to work. He discovered a problem under our toilet that I believed (but hoped did not) existed. He sent me photos and his office is coordinating with Dolphin to address the fix. I have used Dolphin before and trust Jim immensely. I was so relieved when Tyler said his office would contact Dolphin and explain the situation. He made my day by saying don't worry - we will contact Dolphin and coordinate. Thank you Tyler! (This plumbing company is superb to the Newport plumbing company that starts with an R and is three letters! I told them there was an issue re the toilet they installed. They came out and said it was a squeak from a sub floor nail. Funny it never squeaked before and the sub floor never changed - but the R plumbing company guy was rude and said it was fine - very demeaning- and then billed me an additional $150.00 to come out. For years I ignored the squeak but I knew there was a small leak. So glad I hired Newport Plumbing and I am now a customer for life.)
