I spend a lot of time on my feet & working with my hands, and I carry a ton of stress in my muscles. A combination of work, posture, and psychosomatic stress had resulted in continuous pain, tension, and back spasms. I've resorted to pain medications which are both expensive, habit forming, and have harmful side effects. For my birthday, my wife treated me to an appointment for massage therapy by Ryan. I was unsure about this at first, my wife and I would massage each other but I am generally very sensitive and uncomfortable with other people touching me. I even began cutting my own hair because I cannot handle the discomfort of someone else so close in my personal space. So naturally, I walked into my appointment filled with anxiety. Ryan was exceptionally professional and courteous, she communicated clearly with my wife and I, and was sensitive to my comfort levels. She had set up a soothing & tranquil environment that relaxed all the senses, and allowed me to customize the experience fully to my own comfort level. She was mindful, giving me privacy when I needed, breaks, and communicated with me throughout the session with regards to my own comfort levels. When she worked, she moved like a machine, precise, accurate, like a surgeon with clear knowledge of muscles, nerves, and lymphatic systems. She was able to work out deep muscle knots throughout several layers of muscle, providing a release of tension and relief of pain far better than any pain medication could offer. At the end of the session, I felt like a new man, my body and brain had been fully rebooted, and for the rest of the day I felt like I was walking on clouds and had no pain in my back. The difference between the pain and tension and stress before and after I walked into Ryan's massage clinic was remarkable. I am trying to convince my wife to get herself in there as well, and already planning to schedule future sessions. If you are new to massage therapy, I must say that Ryan is the one to see, if you care about professionalism, courtesy, precision, and skill. I have had about 15 sessions with Ryan and she is an astounding, intuitive, and skillful practitioner. I have never been able to quiet my body and mind to effectively meditate and be in tuned with myself until now. My body starts softly buzzing almost as soon as I get on her table. It's the only way I can describe it at this point. I feel so relaxed, and I can't even explain how important that is to my highly anxious self. I guess the buzzing is a calming or grounding energy flowing through me. I have experienced several benefits thus far, such as better sleep quality, pain relief, deep relaxation, and today I was shocked at a doctor visit. My doctor is lovely, but I hate visits. Even thinking about a doctor visit sends my blood pressure through the roof. I was in serious pain and I just knew that I was going to be put in the hospital for the amount of pain I was in and how I know that also affects BP. It was normal. I can't even remember the last time my BP was normal at a dr. visit. I have changed nothing in my life but seeing her every week. She is phenomenal! She also recently worked on my daughter who just entered her third trimester and had a slip at the river. Her pelvis was hurting and her chest was tight. I was rear ended in an auto accident! My Chiropractor suggested I see a massage therapist to help un tighten my stiffness. My wife heard through a coworker that Ryan is the person to be seen! I called made an appointment and had a general Swedish massage. Ryan's hands are like mink gloves. She does an amazing job at working out the kinks. I've always wanted to try the Hot Stones massage. Well the next week that is what I got! It is like nothing you have ever experienced in your life. It's just incredible how she balances going back and forth with warm oil and her hands then Hot Stones with warm oil and she rolls slides pushes in on the stiff knotted knots that get pushed in. But by continuously using hands and Hot Stones she melts away all your troubles stress aches and pains. All the while she is masterful at winding you down and let's you relax the last 5-10 min with Hot Stones resting on your problem areas... They only allow you to use 5 star's But in all actuality she deserves 10 stars's It u have never tried Hot Stones and always have thought about it. Just do it! Last week I had a myofascial release therapy with Ryan! It was amazing. To be clear, it isn't a regular massage session. I was looking to release some old trauma from my body. I set my intentions just before we started to be completely open and to release completely with easy and grace. She did such an amazing job! It felt like I turned into clay and was dismantled with love and care and reassembled gently without the old crap. I could feel things shifting and releasing. It felt like she reached into me to release some of the stuff. I really like her technique to coax it out instead of forcing it out like when you get deep tissue. It didn't hurt at all. I am so incredibly grateful for her work and help. She held such a safe space for me to let go and trust in the process. I definitely will be back. My tip is if you have never had it before, look it up. And ask her questions. If you have a hard time letting go, then look at that first so that when you do this, you get the most benefit. We can get in our own way sometimes. If you can surrender fully, then I believe you will love this. Being embodied helps too in order to feel the full experience. read more

She's wonderful! Ryan has been massaging me for more than two months and she is working to undo years of knots and tension in my whole body.
