We loved our guide, Carlos and Jose Luis in Gibraltar. Carlos picked us up in Sevilla and drove us to Gibraltar. The ride was filled with historic facts and information. Carlos English expression was excellent. Jose Luis was an amazing person with a love of Gibraltar. His knowledge of the monkeys, the British take over etc was interesting and thought provoking. read more

The trip to Granada/Alhambra with Carlos was one of the highlights of our two week vacation in Spain and Portugal. He picked us up on time in a very comfortable car. Even though the drive was long it passed by quickly as Carlos had much information to share with us about his country. He then handed us over to our tour guide for Alhambra. After our Alhambra tour Carlos recommended a restaurant to us and made sure we were seated prior to leaving us for a memorable meal. Afterwards we toured Granada on foot taking in the beautiful sights including statues, fountains and the cathedral. We even stopped by the bazaar for some impromptue gift shopping. We also stopped for coffee and dessert so he could have us sample some Pionono which was invented especially for the Papel visit. All in all it was a wonderful day and I would highly recommend this tour with Carlos on your next visit. read more

Costanza did our tapas / Flamenco tour through Triana and we had one of our best nights here. A Dancer herself, she not only shared lots of unique info, she also led us to heavenly tapas! She was engaging for the whole tour and the range of age groups on the tour; she also helped us finding covid labs so we could get our tests for the flight, and she became our friend! Very upset with this company and would advise against using them in the future. Everything started out great during the booking process but then the Coronavirus hit and we needed to cancel OR reschedule for an unknown future date. This situation is obviously out of our control, so we emailed our agent about cancelling or delaying our excursions. We were told that we would get less than a 50% refund OR we could reschedule in the future and pay $100 Euros for EACH excursion to rebook (but they couldn't guarantee availability). They took days to respond to our polite emails asking for better but ultimately they did nothing. Overall, we spent close to $3,500 USD on excursions we cannot attend and they offered us a mere $1,000 USD in return. The reason: "they already booked drivers." This is RIDICULOUS as the tours/excursions are 1-2 weeks out! It is absolutely unconscionable that while the rest of the travel industry is striving to contain the virus by advising against travel, this company is operating with their heads in the sand with no consideration for their future clientele. By acting as if this is business as usual, this company is demonstrating that they not only have no understanding of the situation, but frankly, they just don't care. read more

We hired Not Just a Tourist for a day trip to Granada and the Alhambra on September 1st and were not disappointed. It was easy to organize and the tour was great. When we contacted Mahsa about a tour with possible trip dates, she responded quickly, in less than 24 hours. We decided on a private tour of Granada with a private tour of the Alhambra, with transportation from Seville. We were picked up right on time by Alba and the driver in a clean comfortable car. Alba was a great guide for our trip - knowledgeable about Granada and the Muslim Quarter, and Spain in general. She thoughtfully answered every question that we put to her, on a wide range of subjects, We learned a lot about ordering and eating tapas from her, which served us well during our trip. She spoke English very well. Our guide for the Alhambra was Jaime Rivadulla, and he was outstanding. One of the best guides we've ever had. He was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Alhambra and its inhabitants, and how new discoveries are still being made. He did all of this in an engaging way that allowed us to ignore the crowds and heat completely. The time went by much too quickly! We were exhausted at the end of the day, in the best possible way. There are too many flaws with this company, I don't know where to start. A very sour experience! Avoid at all costs!! 1) We are 3 adults and 1 child (4 years old). We booked the Seville to Granada and Al Hambra tour in French. Initially the owner told us the price is 587 euros and based on that I made a booking. After that the owner decided to charge us an adult fee for the child who enters Al Hambra for free and joins the tour for free. We paid the extra... 2) When booking on their website, it does not account for children. For this specific tour, you can only book for adults . Yet we still agreed to pay an adult price for a 4 year old! 3) we agreed on a late pick up a month prior to the tour and that's why we paid 80 euros extra for a private tour and then a few hours before the tour, owner emails to say late pick up not possible. This is not professional you don't change the tour time a few hours before ESP with this much money. 3) We got many confirmations that the tour will be in French with a tour guide and when we got to Al Hambra we were given audio guides to listen to!!!! We paid a fortune to be with the best tour and the best tour guides!!! Not listen to an audio!!!! I really can't believe it We came from very far so +6 h plane then + 5 h train to Seville then 3 h + to Granada to end up with a very disappointing experience that costed us a fortune. I expected a lot of historical input but since no one was ther to explain the outcome was a very big ZERO. No refund was granted to us despite that the service paid for was not rendered. We shall never go through this company again. read more

We did a transfer via Ronda and Malaga to Granada and a tapas tour in Triana as well as a panoramic tour of the monuments in Seville. All guides were overly friendly and knowledgable and the organization was perfect. Our driver was a very skilled driver and we had some amazing recommendations for lunch from our guide. They even booked for us a fantastic flamenco show and restaurant in Granada and arranged our last minute tickets for Alhambra while we had lost any hope to be able to see Alhambra as it was fully booked out.
