A negative ten stars if I could. Do not rent a U-Haul from here. Maria Lybbert makes a total mess of the paperwork, is flippant and argumentative in manner and voice inflection, would rather drink alcohol at the local watering hole than serve her customers, and does not even honor and work WITH the regional U-Haul management. She's an ass. I don't understand how she can be an authorized U-Haul dealer. U-Haul must have vacated their standards. read more

My husband brought up two records to buy. We continued to browse for a bit then went to the counter to purchase them. They read the total of one record and he told them he was purchasing two. The vendor, an Asian lady who may also be an employee there, states "I took it back. I'm not selling it." Oh...? I asked her why she put it out if she didn't plan on selling it. She responds "I haven't looked through those items yet. I'm keeping this one. I'm a collector." She put out items into her stall marked ready to be sold and just TOOK IT BACK! I'm disappointed that they allow vendors to do this here. This has ruined our antique shopping experience, something we enjoy. What's the point of finding something you like if the vendor is just going to take it back? Shame on the vendor and the employees who allowed her to do this. read more

I talked to Maria, the owner about renting a booth. I got a contact from her on a Tuesday she said she wouldn't be back in the store until Friday. I let her know we would come in Friday with the signed contact and asked if we could paint the booth. We were to move out inventory later that day. She said yes. Went back Friday when they opened and the booth I was to rent was full of things. Maria asked if she could help me. I said yes remember I'm going to rent this both. She said oh it's rented. I said you were renting it to me. She said no I'll show you one you can rent. I said no this is the booth I want. She said no you always wanted this one. WHAT!? I guess I'm glad not to do business with someone that operates this way. read more

Not Just Antiques - Antiques Near Me - Bothell, Washington

I went here with my wife to browse, one of the lady's was following us around the whole store, hovering over us... maybe she thought we were going to steal something. Very uncomfortable. I found a stack of about 20 records priced at $10, at that price it was all well known artists. I found a Willy Nelson album as well as a Don McLean in the stack that were a little scratched up so I was already on the fence about purchasing. I brought them up to the counter to hold while we continued to browse. When I went up to pay for the records the Willy Nelson album was gone, the Asian lady who owned the items said she didn't want to sell that record because she wanted to keep it for herself. She then continued to explain how she could sell it on eBay instead. She claimed she did not look through those albums yet, but here's my problem, at that price you should know what you are selling, how long does it take to sort through 20 records? The other two ladies that were working there were whispering about how she shouldn't do that but they decided to not inform me of what she was doing when I went up to pay, it seemed they instead were hoping I wouldn't notice. I for some reason decided to still buy the Don McLean record, the less scratched of the two. I played the record to test it out when I got home and it played like garbage. Will not be returning. Bottom line: Great little antique mall with very fair prices and lots of stuff to choose from. It's more on the decor and knickknack side of antiques, with some toys, some housewares, and a little bit of furniture. It certainly is packed up in here. Tons to choose from. Maria, the owner, is the sweetest and most charming shopkeeper I've met in a while. She answered tons of questions for me and was a huge help. This is a big former drugstore or supermarket, really a good-sized facility, and they have no problem filling it up. This is an amazing shop with such a large variety of antique/vintage and new items. The atmosphere is peaceful and you can literally spend hours shopping! There are some beautiful items for personal use as well as gifts for others. Vendors are friendly. It is run by volunteers who give their time to help customers. I thought that was cool. I found the perfect vintage parlor chair for my sun room, and even hand painted wine glasses (one of a kind) as a gift for a friend. I've found that the merchandise moves quickly and if you see it you have to get it right away, otherwise it will be gone next time you shop. Prices are reasonable and quality is tops (even for used items). A stop at Not Just Antiques is a must. read more

I popped into this store by chance and was impressed by the selection. I noticed a lot of the display cases were for sale and decided to see if I could find one that would look good in my new house. The owner Maria was very nice and when she saw me looking at a particular one she came over to make sure I was able to find what I was looking for. She gave me an amazing price (it was already on sale but she took another $50 off) and even connected me with the owner of the piece who picked my item up from her store, delivered it to my house, and set it up for a very fair price). What an amazing antique/consignment store! How I came to stop in was rather serendipitous. There was a car accident on Bothell Way so cars were detouring through the parking lot. I detoured and noticed this store next to the Rite Aid. It was open till 7pm so I decided to stop in. I have been on the hunt for furniture lately and thought it would be worth a look. I didn't end up buying any furniture but there was a wide selection for sale, mostly wood items. Many prices were quite reasonable and some pieces were high but not out of sight. I found a brand new cashmere sweater with the tags still attached for $6. That's right. Just out of sight deals! I picked up a few decorative items and red wine goblets. Prices were just a steal. The owner, Valerie was very helpful and friendly and she let me shop a bit past closing time which was very nice. I can't wait to return! The items are all clearly labeled on your receipt which I really appreciate. I was bored and wasn't ready to go home just after dinner so I decided to stop in. The guy behind the desk was very friendly. The store was really cool. No organization whats so ever but that just even made it even more amazing. It was kind like if you did find something that it was meant to be. Kind of like a treasure hunt. I ran out of time because the store was closing and even though the gentleman told me to take my time I decided to respect his time and leave. I was up from California to visit my daughter who lives in Bothell. It's a short walk from her place to this fabulous antique store. I stopped in three times during my vacation and each time I made clothing purchases. I was thrilled when I found several tops made by Johnny Was. I grabbed two of them right away and was on the fence about buying a Johnny Was dress. I went back the next day and it was gone. This is a great antique store. A diamond in the rough. I am a collector and I was in "Not Just Antiques" a week ago and found 3 vintage items that are now the prize of my collection. It's a small store tucked in a strip mall off the main road. I was on my way to "Country Village" to check out the antique store there, but what I found at "Not Just Antiques" was much better, and priced very reasonably. Part of the fun of "antiquing" is the search, and I've never come up empty handed at "Not Just Antiques." The owner is a very nice lady named Maria who was very helpful and pointed me to an item I'd overlooked and which I purchased on the spot. It's now in our kitchen. read more
