I absolutely love thrifting and I'm mildly upset that I didn't find out about Bella's Voice sooner! It is, without a doubt, my new go-to for second-hand goodies, especially because it's so close to me. I believe all proceeds also go to animal welfare, so this place is a win-win. Store & Selection: (5/5) Upon entering, it's definitely smaller than most thrift stores I've gone to, especially compared to big names like Value Village and Goodwill. Do not let that turn you off! The selection here is AMAZING and I love how the racks are organized by size and color. I think I've walked out with an armful of stuff each time I've gone. Service: (5/5) Everyone here is really nice and they make checking out very quick. Other notes: Not sure exactly how their discount system works and how often it changes, but all their stuff is tagged by color for a corresponding discount. I stopped by Bella Voice expecting a fun thrift shopping experience, but unfortunately I left disappointed. The store felt extremely cluttered and difficult to shop. Many of the shelves were filled with random old toys and what looked like garage sale leftovers rather than carefully curated thrift items. The clothing racks were overstuffed, making it difficult to browse, and several areas had clothing that had fallen underneath the racks, making the store feel messy and unorganized. Another issue was the layout. Many aisles were confusing and not clearly labeled, so it was hard to know where to find anything without wandering around the store. What stood out the most was the checkout experience. Although there were plenty of employees throughout the store, there was only one young cashier handling a long line of customers. They appeared overwhelmed trying to keep up while everyone else waited. I understand thrift stores can get busy, but better organization, cleaner displays, and more support at the registers would make a huge difference. I hope the store improves because it has the potential to be a much better shopping experience. read more

We used to really like Bella's Voice and shopped there regularly after moving to Lynnwood in 2024. We have spent close to $3,000. That changed with one visit which occurred a month ago. Look at the photos for the condition of a rug they sold. At the Shoreline store, I purchased a rug that was tightly rolled and sealed with tape, so there was no way to inspect it at the store. When I got it home and opened it, it was in unacceptable condition: heavily stained, paint marks, and a strong cigarette odor. This is not an item that should have been on the sales floor. I brought it back within a week with the tag attached and receipt in hand. The manager Leonora did not start by looking at the condition. Instead, she went straight to finding reasons to deny the return. First saying there was no tag (there was), then saying they don't accept returns on "furniture." At no point did she engage with the actual issue. When I tried to show her why I was returning it, another employee inserted herself and escalated the interaction. I did raise my voice out of frustration (my voice carries) but I made no threats and was trying to explain a legitimate issue. Rather than hearing the concern or working toward a solution, the situation escalated quickly. The manager told me to leave or the police would be called for CRIMINALLY TRESSPASSING, and that is exactly what happened. Police were called over a return. I tried to de-escalate and offered reasonable solutions (exchange or completing my purchase), but the manager declined and stayed focused on denying the return and calling the police to have us removed for CRIMINAL TRESSPASSING! Even the responding officer looked at the rug and attempted to find an amicable resolution. My daughter, who was not involved in the interaction, was also threatened with trespass, which was upsetting and unnecessary. This should have been straightforward customer service: 1. The item was not in acceptable condition and the condition was against their own donation policy. 2. It was packaged in a way that prevented inspection 3. A reasonable review could have resolved it Instead, it escalated into a situation involving publicly funded law enforcement over a defective item. As a nonprofit serving the community, I would expect a greater emphasis on resolving issues directly rather than relying on public resources to shut down a legitimate concern. For a place called Bella's Voice, it was surprising how quickly the conversation was shut down. The executive director has chosen to ignore my formal complaint. First of all, it doesn't smell bad like other thrift stores. It doesn't really have a smell at all. So, it's much more comfortable to shop. It's a little small but they have a lot packed in. There is a good variety of items. I thought the prices on the kitchenware were really good. The prices on the shoes were a little high for a thrift store. I received some hot tips through parenting forums that Bella's Voice was an awesome place to buy cheap baby and kid clothes. As a soon-to-be parent, I wanted to dress my baby well but without spending a fortune since they will grow so quickly. True to their words, the onesies at Bella's Voice are about $1 apiece which is astounding in today's market. I came in twice over two weeks because I couldn't believe it and had to come back to see if the selection rotated as much as I hoped. The first time I was bummed that I found a cute unicorn sweater but it got confiscated for not having a price tag (their policy dictates that unpriced merchandise must be returned to the back room for processing with no guaranteed turnaround time for returning to the rack). By the second time I visited I found an even nicer kids jacket for about the same price which I promptly snatched up. The inventory turns at a steady pace and there's some fun stuff in there (Juicy Couture baby bottoms anyone?) This has definitely been my most promising resource for kid clothes for myself and parent friends so far, and has revitalized my former interest in thrift shop hunting as a hobby. read more

The price stickers used by Bella's Voice RUIN collectible items and paper related items such as books and record sleeves. Even with effective ways of removing them (blow dryers, goo-gone, etc.), sticky residue remains and paper gets ripped and torn. All other thrift shops in the area manage to use price stickers that do not have this problem. read more

Drop off is quick and easy. Nice addition to the neighborhood. I have not shopped there yet but it looks very organized.

This is a great place with reasonable prices..not everything is cheap but like all thrifts you have to pay attention to what you are buying. I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE this thrift because they had the heat, AMAZING prices, and a good mission. Two of these things are still true, but their prices have become exuberant to Goodwill points in every single avenue when they started growing in popularity and hiring teenaged depop warriors instead of older people. For example I went to this store when it first opened and found a Wii with all accessories for $30. Tell me why now I go and I saw an old sewing machine for $150?? This applies to the clothes too- pieces that used to be like $20 are now being priced for $50 at a THRIFT STORE. PLEASE fix this or I am going to be very sad about losing my favorite thrift in my rotation, I loved coming here because it was a REAL thrift store! But now it feels like its turning into another goodwill. :( read more

I really like a store that has a good purpose and this one does. If you have to shop anyhow why not do it in a way that helps animals? I like that they have occasional days that go to help specific animal sanctuaries/rescues, but shopping anytime goes to helping animals. Plus buying 2nd hand is always a good way to help everyone. I usually go to the thrift store, but I have made it into the furniture store once or twice. The parking here is a little complicated, but there are lots of spots in the back, just be careful driving thru the drop off area. Helpful hint, come shop and bring stuff to donate at the same time. I always feel better when feel like I give things I no longer need a chance at a second life. You can also combine this shopping trip with the more expensive thrift store next door. If you are a bargain shopper like me keep an eye on social media for special sales days. If you can bare the crowds 50% off day is amazing. I really like that this store is not massively big, but still holds a ton of treasures. It also doesn't have the terrible smell many thrift stores seem to have. Although I have not been at Bella's Voice, located at 198th St in Lynwood, I have always had the best experience as the store is well run and fairly priced and very helpful. I choose to donate to this location for these reasons and more. Meanwhile, I recently went to the location on Hwy 99 with a couple of out-of-town guests. Not a good experience for us. We experienced obvious dogging (like we were expected to steal) Not well run at all. Very messy and pricing layout not a match for their sister store. Almost as though, aside from the name, they're two different organizations. I will not be returning; however, I will be going by end of this week to the location at 198th very soon. Who knows, perhaps the way of doing business has changed at that store as well. I sure hope not and will report back after my visit. read more

Writing this review over 6 months after I was here, but finally writing it because Bella's Voice deserves the exposure. I visited this place looking for postcards. Found a few and also some greeting cards along with some US military memoribilia. While I was being rung up, mentioned that I send postcards to people all over the world who are in need of encouragement. The owner gave me a stack of about 100 vintage postcards for free from a hotel her father had owned. I was floored and thanked her. Very gracious of her. They have a section in the books where there are autographed books by the authors, and all books are buy 2 get 1 free (I don't think that's the signed ones though). read more

But, I have gotten so many compliments on it. It's hard to find a rockin' red coat that is classic and can last through all the seasons and trends. And, you can find those deals here at Bella's! I always find great deals here and love that they are all about saving, rescuing pets! They have better deals than the Goodwill next door. Up to 75% off. They even have a furniture store a few stores down and great affordable pieces there too. The staff is so friendly, helpful and the store is very clean and well-kept. Absolutely never shopping here and I wouldn't recommend it. I wish I could give a 0 star review - horrible service. Within 5 minutes, their team turned an excited customer into someone who will never return. We were eating across the street and were excited to see a new thrift store, especially Bella's Voice because we're familiar with their mission. Decided to stop by and check it out. We came in 5 minutes before close which they informed us immediately when we walked in. We told them that's fine and we just wanted to check it out for a minute since we've never been. Their team then proceeded to follow us around the store yelling every minute "3 minutes until close" "2 minutes to close," etc. I told my partner we needed to leave because it was 7 as I was admiring a piece of pottery and a worker came to stand by us to tell us it was 7. We let her know we were on our way out, but she just kept standing there and reiterated we needed to leave right now. I made a joke about her escorting us out, and she said she planned to follow us around until we left. As we were walking out, she continued to follow us and the worker said she needed us to leave so she could eat her dinner (do they not give breaks here)? There were still people in line being checked out at the register while we were being ushered out of their store by this worker. The whole experience felt so surreal. I've never been treated so rudely and over something so stupid. read more

I absolutely love this store. The merchandise is continually changing as employees are bringing out new items throughout the day. Prices are fair and they've constantly got 30 50 or 75% off certain tag colors every day. The only one gripe I Would have is the placement of the price tags (stickers). It's not pleasant to arrive home to 1st have to somehow DE-STICKER your treasures! I believe management needs to tell your employees to stop sticking stickers where they don't belong and put them on the bottoms of the items, It would be much more pleasurable this way. I stopped by this store & found 2 shirts I liked. I noticed the dressing room was no longer available in the back. I asked the clerk if I could try them on in the bathroom. She said rudely "NO" -I was in shock by her attitude. Almost a snarl as she said no. I'm a 66 year old woman & was surprised by her demeanor.
