I had an appointment in Coralville and decided to stop in Nothing Bundt Cakes. I needed to see and taste what everyone talks about! Adorable store. Inviting. Clean. It was very overwhelming for me because I had never visited before. I entered the store, and a customer was waiting, presumably for an order, while a nice young woman worked behind the counter. She greeted me, but didn't ask if I had ever been there before, if I was looking for something in particular, or if I had any questions, for example, what's the difference between a Bundlet and a Bundtini? Educating your customers; this is a missed opportunity. I don't think you should assume your customers have been there before and know what they want. I did have a question about the Bundtlet towers (I think they're called) and whether the flavors of the tower could be mixed and matched. I ended up purchasing a few Bundlets a la carte style. All that aside, while the cakes and frosting were good (in terms of taste, freshness, size, and quality), they didn't knock my socks off. I'll probably reserve them for a special occasion. I spent about $18 on three Bundlets: red velvet, lemon, and chocolate chocolate chip. Convenient parking spaces outside the shop are marked for Nothing Bundt Cakes customers. read more

Nothing Bundt Cakes is a solid option for catering a party, giving a loved one some extra cheer or just taking home a sweet treat for the family! This location is convenient, just off the Coralville strip. Parking is a non issue and online ordering is offered. It's open Monday through Saturday. I ordered a few dozen bundtinis for a party. I was thrilled to see they had pumpkin, as a seasonal flavor. (Delish.) But was so saddened to see their monthly special (a caramel apple at that time) was not offered in the bundtini size. Pricing seemed a bit steep to me, but seems on par with other cupcake/cake/bakery spots-- so what do I know :) I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Was waited on instantly, but I did get to peruse their super small storefront which offers a few chairs but generally is just for party supplies available for purchase. (The candle selection is lit! Ha, get it?) Overall, it was available on time, made fresh, complete and the staff was pleasant! I'd recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes as its product is solid and turnaround time (I ordered less than 24 hours in advance) is super quick for the area. read more

LOVE this place. Bundt cakes are just delicious. My fiancé surprised me with the "prettiest princess" cake when I was having a hard week and I made my night :) I've gotten some of their mini bundt cakes in the past too and they never disappoint.!They are so moist and juicy and delicious! The times I've gone in, they have so many options for flavors... I especially love the lemon one and white chocolate raspberry. They have options like chocolate chip, red velvet, snickerdoodle, vanilla, and more! They do also offer a gluten free chocolate chip cookie as well. Service is good and what you would expect. Ambiance is clean and nice for a bakery. It is a bit on the pricier end, but you can taste the quality. This is definitely a place you go to pick up a sweet treat after a hard week or to make a special someone smile :) read more

I have been wanting to try this place for some time. My husband and daughter attended a party and they had a 'Nothing Bundt Cake' and brought me home a slice. It was SO delicious. I stopped in today to grab my family a treat and bought four little Bundt cakes. Three were the chocolate, chocolate chip and one was carrot cake. They were so moist and delicious. What a great addition to the dessert scene in the area! I never knew that I needed or wanted bundt cakes (their bundtlets are just the right size) often, but here we are. Location is good, their bundts are delightful, and I await finding out what their rotating seasonal selection is when it changes. My only (slight) disappointment is that they're only open until 6 most nights and closed on Sundays, so you have to plan your trips a bit. read more

My dreams came true a few weeks ago when I saw that a NBC was opening in Coralville! I finally visited today (their opening day) and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was everything I wanted and more. The location is perfect -- close to the mall and next to Five Guys -- and the staff was wonderful. If you've been to an NBC then you know what to expect: moist, delicious cakes with the best icing on the planet and a store full of cute add-ons and giftable items. Between tiny bundtinis, bundtlets (basically the size of two cupcakes, though I find it in me to eat them in one sitting), and the full bundt cakes, their baked goods are guaranteed to satisfy any need or occasion. I had no expectations when I went in to Nothing Bundt Cakes (love the name) in January and purchased chocolate and snickerdoodle Bundtlets, but I was excited to try. When I was able to try both flavors, I was knocked out by the wonderful flavors, cake consistency, and frosting (so good!). The frosting is a buttercream and cream cheese flavor and it is just right on the cake (not too much, not too little). The bundtlet is just the right size for one person or to share. I've tried a few more flavors the last couple of months and they were all good! I can't wait to try more. This is a great place to get a special treat to share (large cake or bundtinis) or for just yourself. It is an easy place to find in Coralville and is a nice, clean store. read more

We purchased a cake from here for my brother's graduation, and it was absolutely AMAZING. We had it in the fridge for 2 days before we opened it up and ate it and it was moist and delicious. We received a dozen Bundt cupcakes as a gift from an out of town relative. They were a mess at delivery with only 3 in tact. When I called to see what could be done, we were told "that's the risk you take" when you ask for things to be delivered. If this is the case I'm wondering how this business could possibly handle a wedding/ baby shower/ birthday party, etc. If the quality is a risk you take with delivery I cannot recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes. read more

I was so happy to see that Nothing Bundt Cakes delivers! My daughter lives in Iowa and I live in Arizona. It hurts my heart to not be able to make her a birthday cake on her special day. I always send some special treat on her birthday so she knows how much we love her. This year she is getting Birthday Buntinis! I called the Coralville location and spoke with Sydney who was absolutely delightful and incredibly helpful.
