My wife and I went into the Modesto Ca location at 2100 Standiford Ave Ste E17-18, Modesto Ca 95350. While visiting the store on November 11th 2025 it was my wife's birthday as well as Veterans Day. The store offered my wife a free bundt cake for her birthday. I asked about if there were kind of discounts or any other perks for Veterans the cashier wasn't sure what the discounts were. The store offers free cakes for birthdays but they dont offer a individual cake for vets. How do they think they are able to have a store and have a free country. Its not because of birthdays its because of our military. Also my wife is wearing a birthday shirt and I'm wearing my Navy Veterans shirt and hat. The employee wished my wife a happy birthday and never thanked me for my service! Its disrespectful and hurtful. I would never recommend this place to anyone! read more

Nothing Bundt Cakes had a limited time flavor; Reese's Peanut Butter! This is my new favorite! I hope they will keep it on the menu. I really thought I had already left a review. Must have slipped my mind! Anyway... I wish they would make a fresh banana nut cake! This would be super tasty, if they would make it. We have been suggesting it for years, no such luck just yet. The young lady who helped us when we went on my b-day was super friendly and helpful. (More than I can say for the employee we avoided). I could tell she didn't even want to be there, I was grateful she didn't offer to help. I just waited for the other employee to help me anyway. I used to get their emails and I haven't for a while. I asked if they had any and the sales person said you cannot eat it here so no they do not have them. I spoke to Regina and she said it was not a corporate thing it was just their store policy. So if you go to this location plan on going somewhere else to get utensils if you're not going home. read more

A am a loyal customer at this location and I have had enough. Within the past 2 months I had found hair baked into my cake, spoke with the manager I denied to be refunded because before this incident I have never had an issue with this store and I knew I would go back. I just asked if they would please allow me to come pick up a replacement. The manager asked I send her a picture where you could clearly see blonde hair, I have jet black hair, baked into the cake batter. I sent a video and a picture. She emailed me back and reassured me. She would let her staff know. I would be coming in to pick up the replacement cakes when I went in none of the staff knew anything about the incident and they were reluctant to give me the cakes I had to pull up the actual conversation through email and show them. I emailed the manager back explaining to her that I thought it was very unprofessional of her to tell me that she would let her staff know about the incident, but yet known of them had any idea and she kind of blew me off and just said oh I'm sorry come Valentine's Day, which was a few weeks later my husband placed an order for their Valentine Day confectioner box he picked up the box and noticed they did not have any confection or hearts in them. They said he must've not ordered it correctly and he said I ordered the one that is right here on display. They did not offer to fix it or do anything so I contacted corporate office. I spoke with somebody in the corporate division explain the situation of both incidents. They told me they would have the regional manager call me back within the next two weeks. I still have not heard from anybody. I have not got refunded for this nor have I got a replacement for this. I don't know what is going on at that specific store but never had any issues until the last few months with it. I think corporate is unprofessional for not reaching back out and I think the manager at the specific location was very unprofessional and it's such a shame because I absolutely love their cakes. Well this place has delicious stuff! We got the minis for my dad's birthday back in June. I forgot to leave a review but was reminded as I drove past them today. I called the store to see if I could get my BFF a cake for her birthday (last minute) Sierra was very helpful in picking a flavor for my BFF and she remained professional and sweet the whole time during our conversation. She even offered a solution to a problem. Wendy delivered the cake to my bff (I live far away). She called me when she arrived to the location because no one was answering the door and she was so sweet and very excited to be a part of the surprise. On Thursday, September 1, 2022 We believe this store didn't honor it's MARKETING: FREE 250 Birthday Bundt cake giveaway!!! We were there at 11 am, nobody was in the store but us, and six workers standing around. They claimed they gave them ALL AWAY!! They OPENED at 9am, two hours later we were there!!! Shall we do the math together?? Lets do!! To give away 250 Bundtlets, they would have to give away 2.08 Bundtlets per minute, for the next 120 minutes / 2 hrs!!! 2.08 X 120 = 249.6!! Right?? We Don't believe these five stars!!! They're VERY UNFRIENDLY / RUDE!! They LACK the very basic customer service skills!! I placed an order for wedding reception. I asked that they be individually boxed, was told they could do. Delivery was in time but cupcakes were not individually boxed Also found hair in 3 plus cupcakes in icing. Found after I spoke to manager ( actually guess found them) I called and spoke to manager about the boxed. And was told that they do not do. But I called asked them twice before ordering. Manager told that it was corporate wide and doesn't know why I was told that they do. I've ordered in others and they have boxed and it wrapped cupcakes individually. read more

I usually have really good experiences at NBC, but this time I got royally screwed. We ordered a 10" confetti cake for my son's graduation. My wife had to jump through a ton of hoops to get it made with no frosting, as he's not a big fan of it. First off, it wasn't ready at the agreed upon date/time. When my wife brought it home, I immediately recognized it wasn't a 10" cake, like we paid for. When she called the store to let them know, we were told the cake was smaller because there was no frosting on it. Total BS. See the pic. So perturbed with Nothing Bundt Cakes in Modesto. Ordered 2 dozen bundtini's and wanted a dozen in one box of half red velvet and half strawberry and half a dozen of the same in another box and another half dozen of the same in another box. They couldn't put only 6 in a box and 6 in another box for me! How stupid is that when you spend $70 on their items and customer service can't accommodate your request. It's just another box for crying out loud! I'd of paid for another box, but they couldn't even do that! Won't ever order there again. And they put all one flavor in one box and all the other flavor in another box! I know I can switch them out myself, but for their prices I expected it to be correct and better customer service. read more
