Reese's flavored, chocolate peanut butter bundt cake. Photo one of two!
Katie M.

Nothing Bundt Cakes had a limited time flavor; Reese's Peanut Butter! This is my new favorite! I hope they will keep it on the menu. I really thought I had already left a review. Must have slipped my mind! Anyway... I wish they would make a fresh banana nut cake! This would be super tasty, if they would make it. We have been suggesting it for years, no such luck just yet. The young lady who helped us when we went on my b-day was super friendly and helpful. (More than I can say for the employee we avoided). I could tell she didn't even want to be there, I was grateful she didn't offer to help. I just waited for the other employee to help me anyway. I used to get their emails and I haven't for a while. Not sure why. If you don't get their emails, you should sign up. Or they might still honor a free bundlet if you show them your ID on the actual birthday!

Hair I pulled out from the cake

A am a loyal customer at this location and I have had enough. Within the past 2 months I had found hair baked into my cake, spoke with the manager I denied to be refunded because before this incident I have never had an issue with this store and I knew I would go back. I just asked if they would please allow me to come pick up a replacement. The manager asked I send her a picture where you could clearly see blonde hair, I have jet black hair, baked into the cake batter. I sent a video and a picture. She emailed me back and reassured me. She would let her staff know. I would be coming in to pick up the replacement cakes when I went in none of the staff knew anything about the incident and they were reluctant to give me the cakes I had to pull up the actual conversation through email and show them. I emailed the manager back explaining to her that I thought it was very unprofessional of her to tell me that she would let her staff know about the incident, but yet known of them had any idea and she kind of blew me off and just said oh I'm sorry come Valentine's Day, which was a few weeks later my husband placed an order for their Valentine Day confectioner box he picked up the box and noticed they did not have any confection or hearts in them. They said he must've not ordered it correctly and he said I ordered the one that is right here on display. They did not offer to fix it or do anything so I contacted corporate office. I spoke with somebody in the corporate division explain the situation of both incidents. They told me they would have the regional manager call me back within the next two weeks. I still have not heard from anybody. I have not got refunded for this nor have I got a replacement for this. I don't know what is going on at that specific store but never had any issues until the last few months with it. I think corporate is unprofessional for not reaching back out and I think the manager at the specific location was very unprofessional and it's such a shame because I absolutely love their cakes. Don't know if they changed management or what has happened within the last few months, but it is not cool.

Soo everyone knows these cakes are the BOMB.com. My family and I were loyal customers for a while, but one day, I went on their website to see what their flavor of the month was and I scrolled all the way down ans seen that they had a Prop 65 warning! Why would there be a warning in these dang delicious cakes!? So these cakes can cause cancer and birth defects?! I'm so upset! Now I can't eat these anymore bc every time, if i do, I'll be thinking I'm giving myself cancer why Nothing Bundt, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY

White Chocolate Raspberry Bundtini. Sorry I didn't get more or better photos, but I hope you all buy and get to taste one soon!

I didn't hear back for a day or two, but they eventually returned my call and were able to accommodate my request. I had a few specific details in mind--my daughter wanted a chocolate mousse cake, she loves bows, and her favorite color is white. They absolutely delivered! As you can see in the photos, they executed exactly what I envisioned. The cake tasted delicious, the portions were very generous, and the pricing was reasonable for the quality and size. My only suggestion would be sending a pickup reminder. Between mom life and work life, things can get hectic, and a courtesy notification that the cake was ready would've been helpful. They also had a limited selection of birthday candles. Overall, I'm really happy with how everything turned out. They were able to bring my vision to life, and I would definitely order from them again for future celebrations.

I was given my receipt and told by staff that I could get 15% off my order at the restaurant next door if I presented it to them. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and the staff warmed it up for me. The croissant was flaky and I liked the everything but the bagel seasoning on top. I also purchased their chocolate chip cookie and a chocolate muffin. The cookie was thick and chewy on the inside. The semi sweet chocolate chucks topped with sea salt was a delightful combination which uplifted my energy levels during that dreaded afternoon crash. My coworker ate the chocolate muffin and she said it made her day! Mind you, she doesn't even like chocolate! After placing my order I took a walk around. The layout of the bakery let's the customers see the bakers crafting the delicious pastries. There were limited quantities of each so I'm not sure if they have more things on the weekends, which would totally make sense for a local small business on a random Tuesday. Parking is easy once you find it and although the inside is very small there are a few chairs and cafe tables perfect for a duo. Nonetheless, we left with a good haul and got one of almost everything: Red velvet slice, Carrot cake slice, Chocolate Mousse slice, Chocolate brownie, and Lemon bar. They also had a sheet cake, a small pack of cupcakes and cake pops in a separate case, so I wasn't sure if those were preorders or display or available for purchase. Here's what I loved: THE BROWNIE. One of the best I've ever had! The lemon bar was also delicious, super tart and perfectly baked. I'd get either of those again! Customer service was very friendly, prices were clearly displayed and fair, and the portions were good sizes. Here's what I just liked: The cake part of the red velvet, mousse, and carrot cake was a bit dry. They were beautifully decorated, the frosting and fillings were great, but the cake itself just wasn't as soft and moist as I was hoping. Another Yelper mentioned sticking the cake in the microwave and I wish I would have tried that. Definitely a small business worth supporting!

Upon entering, I was struck by three things, how friendly the worker was, how hard the door was to open (I do have mobility issues on occasion), and how little there was on display to choose from. Still, I found a couple of nice items (red velvet and some serious chocolate cake) my wife loved the chocolate but we found the red velvet to be quite dry and hard. I suspect that it had been in the case far too long. Fortunately the chocolate was so good, my wife said that it more than made up for it. Overall, the ambiance was simple bakery, nice folks, serving well. I suspect where these nice folks shine is in pre-orders (which makes TOTAL sense, as foot traffic, particularly in this bakery's location would be a tough sell indeed). I suspect that we will be keeping Dessert European Cakes and Pastries in mind for our upcoming bakery needs.

However, if your not local and purchase from the vendors in the bay area, then your prone to the time it sat at the bakery, travel time to bay area and how long it's been sitting on the shelve before you bought it. Did that! the product went bad the next day! We happen to be in town and stopped by. This was our opportunity to visit for awhile because we moved from Modesto to the bay area and we always bought here when we were local. We requested pandesal on the rack. I wouldn't think that be a problem if a customer requested that versus that already packaged, mind you that it's not every customers expectation, so do it. I'm a Manager in Customer Service so this was the test because the last visit a while back was off and about the same with the same exact aura on the front-end and I just thought maybe it was that one day. There was asian woman and white woman at the front counter. The white woman approached and we requested. Then for some reason the asian woman responded with this attitude that it was fresh and brought out. I could tell she got irritated because she disappeared to the back and never seen. The white woman rung us up, but then you can tell she was brushed off with the same attitude of the asian woman and she rung us up so quickly to get us out. This was similar to our last visit from a year ago and I still remember that visit! Ambiance is great on the first minute before you enter with the aroma, but once you make contact at the front counter and make requests. Good luck! The 3 stars here is strictly the hopia and pandesal we bought that were amazing. The customer service was deteriorated by 2 stars. Just want to make that clear!

I even told them I don't like buttercream because it's too sweet and that I didn't want it anywhere on this cake. When I placed the order, they asked if they could add a little buttercream to the outside for texture. I said okay, but only a tiny bit mixed with the whipped cream. What showed up was all buttercream on the outside with zero whipped cream. When I asked about it, they told me it was whipped cream. I know what I'm tasting, and so did my guests. It was definitely buttercream. The inside was even worse. There was some ganache but barely any. The further we cut into the cake, the more buttercream we found. I did not want buttercream inside the cake at all. I barely agreed to a little on the outside and they didn't even respect that. The photos show it clearly. The further we cut, the messier and more uneven it got with just buttercream and buttercream. One slice had a thin layer of ganache with barely any pecans or caramel. Everything else was buttercream. I picked this bakery because I had a good experience with them the first time. The design looked nice, but the cake itself was really disappointing. Way too sweet from all that buttercream I specifically said I didn't want. I gave them detailed feedback with photos. Instead of owning up to it, the decorator got defensive. He said he used buttercream as glue to hold the cake together. But that doesn't make sense. If ganache worked fine as glue on my first order with them (which had no buttercream inside at all), why couldn't he do the same thing this time? He just chose to use a lot of buttercream instead of actually following what I asked for. I even sent more photos pointing out exactly where the problem was. But they still insisted it was whipped cream. My guests noticed it too. So are they lying? Management offered me a 10% discount on my next order. That doesn't help. I paid for a cake that didn't meet what I asked for and it ruined my event. I asked for a 50% refund which seemed fair. They read the message but never answered. Just complete silence. If a bakery is going to charge premium prices for custom cakes, you need to actually follow what the customer asks for. I was crystal clear about what I wanted. That's literally the whole point of a custom order. They like to ignore customers when there's an issue. I was ignored at first, then only responded after I pointed out how unprofessional they were handling things. That's when they offered the 10% discount. But the moment I asked for a fair 50% refund, they ghosted me completely. No response, nothing. That says everything you need to know about how they treat customers who have legitimate concerns.
