All of the employees were so welcoming! I was greeted by Patti and she made me the best Americano I could have asked for! I stopped by Down for Donuts, because it is my family's favorite donuts, on a Thursday around 11:30AM. It's a cute little place, with a window for ordering. They have pictures of all the donuts which I appreciate SO much. The staff was so incredibly lovely and kind. They were super patient with me as I worked my way through the sweets to pick out the ones I wanted. I ended up ordering 10 donuts and 2 cinnamon rolls. I was legitimately shocked when she told me the price was only $26. For fresh, gourmet, homemade donuts and cinnamon rolls?! What a steal! Not only that, I was pleasantly surprised to see a few extra goodies thrown into one of my boxes. I'm not sure if they did that because they knew I was only in town for a couple of days, or because it was closer to the end of their day and they wanted to off-hand a few so that nothing gets thrown away. But my family and I appreciated it so very much! The donuts were incredibly fresh, super huge and soft, sweet, but not too sweet. They simply hit all the right notes. I'd consider moving to Mooresville just for the donuts alone!
