Visited Nothing Bundt Cakes for the first time! If you join their app they send you a free mini Bundt cake for your birthday so I went to check it out. The bakery is so cute! I loved the decor. They have regular and limited edition flavors to pick from. They also have gluten free options which is fantastic! Every cake looked so delicious, it was had to choose but I went with the limited edition churro vanilla cake! It was so indulgent! The icing was sweet and delicious. The cake was so dense, flavorful and full of moisture. This was so good. The small cakes are only $6 and they are the perfect size for a little indulgence! I bought a dozen bundtlets for around $40.00 before V day. Was gonna order again today and the price is just over 70.00??? Don't get it. Will never pay that price. As it is, if the bundtlets were put together they wouldn't even equal 1 cake. What a ripoff!! It's just a nice presentation for a gift. read more

My mom ordered a cake for the holidays, planning on picking it up Wednesday. I was in the area Tuesday and in trying to not have my mom navigate that parking lot during such a hectic time. I stopped in to see if it I could pick it up early. Not even realizing how tight their schedule of pickups may be. I was met with a pleasant manager who was willing to check if there were any available. She wasn't rigid in her response that others could have of a flat out no and took the time to check. Luckily they had one that could be iced and I was able to pick it up. I always appreciate a business that is willing to help if they can! read more

Love that you sent me the email inviting me to come into your store for it (I am registered with the store's mailing list). It is just the right size for the two of us to share. It made me feel special. The store is such a happy place. The sweet friendly staff, the samples, awesome unique gift items (reasonably priced too), and of course the Bundt cakes are all awesome. I have given the three tier Bundt cakes to several of my friends for all different occasions. I have purchased many of the gift bags as they have great sayings and add a special touch to my gifts. Nothing Bundt Cakes (Get it?) is a month old pastry shop in the Village of Newtown Shopping Center. It is in fact a franchise that deals in only one product - Bundt Cakes. Risky endeavor to rely on one thing to carry a business to profitability. To succeed, those cakes have got to be great. And, they are. World class cream cheese icing. Rich, moist cake full of plenty of flavor. A delicious meld in your mouth delight. Our lemon cake was kept cool overnight in the fridge, and taken out this morning to sit at room temperature for two hours. It came in a large cake box and wrapped in plastic, which must be removed while still cold to avoid pulling the icing off at warmer temps. A small card with instructions is attached with a mini clothespin. Cute! So, why not a perfect score? The store experience is a bit overdone. Before the door closes, a voice welcomes you to NBC, and directs you to the free samples. I had to look for the person talking to me who was behind the high counter. She took away my attention while scanning the shop, making me a little uncomfortable. I prefer a moment to orient myself before the friendly sales assault. Too, I did not relate to the scripted welcome. Better to allow the store to speak for itself, grab the imagination, and then offer a more natural approach by staff. Also, if you look at the photos from the company, the top of each cake has a icing plug across the normal opening from the Bundt pan. Looks good. Our reality was no such cap over the hole, but just a deep well to the bottom of the cake. It was iced, like a snow covered vent from a volcano. No mistake, our lemon Bundt was excellent. These babies are patently addictive. A few adjustments and the experience could be completely unforgettable. read more

I was disappointed in the flavor of the lemon and chocolate Bundt. The lemon didn't have a fresh lemon flavor, more like an oil flavored lemon to me. The chocolate also had an off oily taste. I tried to find an ingredient list to see what is used in their product but was unsuccessful. read more

Consistently delicious and diverse palate of cakes! The lemon is my absolute favorite and whenever there is an occasion, Nothing Bundt Cakes is my go-to for something different and decadent. Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because their service is not 5 stars. Often, there are young adults working there who could not seem any less interested in being where they are-- it's not their fault, but they need to be trained on customer service skills, including greeting their customers with a smile. Recently, I had to make a same day return-trip to the store after discovering one less cake was placed in my bag than what I ordered. Did I want to make the trip back out there? No, but I understand mistakes happen. I walked in and explained the situation, and the young lady just grabbed another cake and put it on the counter in front of me and bid me farewell. She looked annoyed. No apologies- nothing. With service on par with the product, you'll have a five-star operation. Keep making those amazing cakes! read more

Nothing Bundt cakes is nuttin but delicious. I sent my husband here to pick up a cake for New Years he went with a white chocolate raspberry that was so flavorful and so moist. Honestly just looking at the cake I didn't think it would be that great but I wanted to see what all the hype was about, but I'm sure happy I was wrong. I told him to decline on any up-sale of a fancy decoration, that I would just throw something in there. Since then I have tried mini cakes at local street fairs and every flavor was spectacular. Price is $20 for a dozen adorable little cakes! I didn't get to try one but everyone seemingly raved over them. They presented great ! Nothing needed to wrap or further box, very convenient! We appreciated the option for sampling an assortment in each box to try different flavors. I am so impressed with this shop. They are a chain. But it feels intimate. Not only are the cakes delicious but the entire feel and packaging is so creative. I have used multiple times to take to someone's home and gotten wonderful reactions. I have only one wish.... they change flavors regularly but I lost my favorite!!! (Cinnamon). I'm a home baker, a cake snob, and a curmudgeon when it comes to cakes. There is not a grocery sheet cake that is worth the time or the calories to me. Neither is fake, sugary "buttercream" frosting that contains neither butter nor cream. As with any new bakery, I was prepared to be critical and disappointed. Instead, I'm addicted. The cakes are beautiful, moist, and intensely flavorful. They're airy yet decadent, without being overly dense. The frosting is sublime, melt-in-mouth delicious, and worth the extra hour on the treadmill. The cakes cut and serve beautifully, and their taste holds up in subsequent servings. The retail space is pristine and sweet, with a few well-chosen goodies that relate to the star of the show--the Bundt Cake. The staff are polished and polite, and there's nothing better than the chance to sample a bite of whatever cake is on offer. I had received a cake from them on my birthday from a friend of mine who was away internationally on my birthday. They were sooo sweet to deliver it to my house, and leave it on my porch away from the rain so the box wouldn't get wet. They were the sweetest people when my friend ordered it and were able to deliver same day. The cake tasted great and was able to keep for 2-3 days. The frosting is absolutely Amazing! I don't ever write reviews but I had to for this one! I love the cakes from here - we order often. They are delicious and never disappoint. They also have the BEST customer service. I did not know they were closed on Sundays. I called Father's Day morning hoping to get a cake for that afternoon. The owner, Roxanne, answered and explained they are closed Sundays but she was there for approx 30 minutes preparing for a large order for the next day. She said if I come quickly, she will help me! She was super sweet and explained that she was trying to get out of the there quickly since it was Fathers Day and her only day off. However, while I was waiting approx 5 or 6 more customers walked in and she helped every one of them with a smile on her face and not rushing anyone. I even saw some super cute teacher gift ideas and ended up ordering for them as well. She was so kind, personable, and helpful!
