On 11/2/20 Abundant Luxury Home Inspection Services (aka Abundant Home Inspections) came out to…read morecomplete my home inspection as a first time home buyer. Initially,  I was impressed by the idea of an African American mother and son team inspecting my home. They offered warranty's, a money back guarantee,  and appeared to have a very pleasant demeanor over the phone.  However, when it came to fully inspecting the home and providing optimal customer service there was a severe lapse in quality performance. When it came time to inspect the service panel the inspector didn't have the proper tool to dismantle the electrical box cover. The inspector stated he didn't have the right tool and asked if the home owner had a tool box so he could look through it to find what he needed. Of course, I didnt feel comfortable looking through the home in that way because I didn't own it yet.  The company & I agreed for the inspector to return to the home on 11/6. As a follow up, I contacted the owner (Simone Cartwright) on 11/4 who stated they would only return to the home for an additional $150. She further stated it was the home owners responsibility to provide access to all areas of the home and it was my agents responsibility to negotiate the $150 from the owner in order for Abundant to complete the inspection. When I reminded Ms Cartwright the inspector stated he didnt have the tool to complete the job she began to over talk and yell at me. She became irate, using profanity and attempted to insult not only me but any future business I intended to recommend her for. When I told her I wasn't interested in arguing she accused me of trying to manipulate her by being nice.  At that point, I reminded her she advertised a 200% money back guarantee if the customer was unsatisfied.  I told her I wasnt requesting 200% just the original sum I paid so I can have the inspection redone. To that end, she became even more irate stating I would not be receiving a refund. After contacting my real estate agent, she was able to schedule another inspector to come out and look at the electrical system. This inspector had no issue removing the panel. Overall Abundant Luxury Home inspection isn't luxurious at all. They practice poor customer service, they weren't equip for the job, and they do not honor what they advertise. Their high level of disrepsect towards their clients is only revealed AFTER they've been paid in full. Abundant does not possess the business acumen to hear their customers out in a professional way while addressing the relevant issues.  Any business owner that proceeds to yell, talk over, and curse at a paying customer instead of addressing their own negligence cannot be trusted and should not be sustained by our community.  Take this review seriously. Do Not employ Abundant home inspection. They have no respect for you, your home, or your money.
