I'm going to have to be a sort of resident old timer here as I had 2 kids go through the center…read more My son actually was one of the first kids in the center when they opened. I can't say enough good things as he was struggling with language when he started and when he finished he was ready for 1st grade although he was only allowed into K. Same thing I see with my daughter. The staff is wonderful to the kids and they help them every which way they can and I still think this is the best place around even though Wawa decided to build next door.

My two year old grandson was kicked out of this daycare/school.From the very first day they…read more(teachers did not like him.His mother had him on a waiting list of 10 months they waited because it was supposed to be so nice.Don't get me wrong the facility is beautiful. They were told at registration he had never been to a daycare. And with a phony smile said it was not a problem. They called my granddaughter multiple times to say he didn't follow rules, he had to be told multiple times to sit down. Second week he started to pick up on the routine..again multiple complaints! She is at work. That's why he is there. He's two years old.You have adults that don't listen he was trying and getting better. The third week they waited for her to come home they couldn't tell her to her face, according to them he's not a good fit.He would cry in the morning because who knows how he was treated behind closed doors. They were always so nasty ,why are you working with kids?I I guess it's all about money. If you are so peculiar on who you choose to accept why not interview, meet the child upon putting them on a 10 month waiting list.So he lost the opportunity to go elsewhere.Oh and they gave her a week to find a daycare.Beware of this place each child is a $ sign. They don't want to be bothered to really help teach a child. One week they complained about him again he's two. Have a nice day!! ,

Our daughter attends Summit School. She can't wait for Mondays, she's so excited about learning,…read moreher classmates, teacher and the school's welcoming and supportive environment. The curriculum is unique in the Poconos: STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math), combined with majority project-based learning, provided in a movement-rich environment, combined with small class sizes, personalized instruction, and a student-run civics and governance model which allows the students to partially participate in the development and enforcement of rules, as a means to teach responsibility and the democratic process. The teachers are wonderful. The administration is caring and devoted. Summit School is everything my wife and I had hoped in a school for our daughter. It's one of the reasons we remain in the area. We're grateful that this grassroots school was created, started and run by members of the local community, and now thrives.

I attended this school and for the tuition I was very disappointed. Even being in ninth grade the…read moreclasses were juvenile. We took out an hour of our day for snack and recess. We did not have a science teacher and it was not only one grade per classroom but anywhere from 2-4 grades. Before paying the fee we informed them that I have high levels of anxiety and depression. These things started to increase while I was attending this school. They sent me home for crying and made me leave the classroom while trying to calm down. I barely was able to complete course work. The kids have foul mouths that the teachers hear and then don't address. They don't take things seriously when it comes to feeling excluded or unwelcome. It is not worth the money. You are paying to teach yourself.
