This particular marina is horrible! It's run by a guy named Corey that manages the dry docks and…read moreslips. My boat has been at this Marina for a year in dry docks. They damaged my new wake boat several different times, each time I brought it to their attention. Corey threatened to kick me out of the marina stating my boat was too big. Yet he has other wake boats on there as well. They actually ripped a large hole in my $1,900 boat cover and refused to pay for a new one and again threatened to kick me out. As we know spaces are limited on Tellico lake. Well today I got a random call from Corey stating I need to pick up my boat immediately that it's just too big after a year. No notice, no 30 days, he gave me until the weekend to pick it up. Stated the boat will be in the water Saturday and they are done servicing me. It's important to note I paid to get my boat repainted and all the damage they caused at no charge to them! Apparently this marina has like 11 owners and no way to reach someone above him to complain to. Now I'm left scrambling to find a place to even store my boat in the middle of the summer. User be ware!

We recommend that they put large trash bags in each boat. We had requested one while we were getting ready to take off in the river. Our other family members had nothing for garbage. So we were able to get off boat quicker to go find a restaurant. We wish there was a bar/restaurant tied to this marina for convenience of being able to get off the boat for lunch or hang around while waiting for others on the boat.

We rented from here for years and they rent out boats in poor shape. The prop had several dings and scratches on it and then tried to point out one when we returned it and said we didn't. We anchored the boat for the entire day and didn't leave the same spot. Wouldn't waste your time renting from them.

I recently wanted to do a repower on a boat I…read morehave been working on for quite a while but I got some bad information that this place didn't do repowers only rigged new boats. I took a chance and called them and yes they do repowers so I ended up talking with Dave Carnes the salesman and he verified they could do the work. So I towed my boat to him so he could evaluate the hull and discuss what wants I needed on the boat. We came up with a plan of engine replacement and some additions I asked for. He said it might take a while which there were customers ahead of me in which I understand I was in line for my turn. I expected 3-5 weeks out on it but was calling me the first week with updates where we were at. By the second week they were installing the engine and ready for lake testing to get the prop pitch right and were ready for me to pick it up. This place is top notch and the customer service is incredible. Their mechanics went above and beyond with fabrication and replacing possible issues that could trouble me. I also want to give a shout out to Jonathan the parts manager for setting me up with everything I need to service this engine as it breaks in. Thanks to all these people that were involved in bringing my boat back to life. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for the best service anywhere. They are a Yamaha dealer and stand behind their work and products and are professional. Thanks again John Mattos.

The captain was great and engaging. He brought along his dog Daisy (optional...haha) because our…read moreson loves dogs. We cruised the lake and enjoyed the awesome scenery which was breath taking. I am sure when the colors are changing it is even more spectacular. The water on the lake was high enough that the captain took us to an area where we did a short 10 minute hike to a beautiful waterfall. The water must have been spring fed because it was refreshingly cold and our son loved playing in it. We enjoyed lunch that we brought along (bring your own food and drinks) at this spot before riding the lake some more. We went to a "swimming hole" area with more shallow water and near a shore with lots of lake rocks that our son really liked and was even making rock forts. Getting pulled behind the boat was a lot of fun and was not too crazy or fast for our youngest (6). The captain offers ideas and suggestions but, does not have a set itinerary. He can take you to the dam or other areas he mentioned but, we settled on tubing and swimming for most of the day and had an awesome time.
