Top notch service! From arrival to departure everything was fantastic! These guys are professionals…read morethrough and through. They grab your stuff from your car, load up your boat, shuttle you down where you can watch how easy they make it look to launch a boat, and once you text them that you're ready to come back, they are waiting with shuttle to bring you back up the hill unload your things, take off the trash, and load everything back in your car. Oh, and give popsicles to the kids. Really it was seamless and everyone was so nice. We rented the Godfrey and it was a great boat. It was fast enough to do the max speed I'd want my kids tubing at. So fun!

The entire experience with Blue Ridge Boat Rentals was excellent…read more We arrived in the parking lot and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The check-in process was quick and easy and the staff loaded our cooler and bags onto the boat while we checked in. Matt was out primary guide/contact and he provided some boating tips and gave us an overview of the lake and some recommended spots we might enjoy. We did rent a tube and our kids had a lot of fun tubing. There were also plenty of beautiful spots to anchor and swim. When we returned at our designated time, the return process was equally as smooth. Matt came aboard and we hopped off for the transportation back to the office. Once the boat was back at the office, staff took off the cooler and bags for us to load back into our car. I do recommend everyone watch the videos and sign the waivers and agreements ahead of arrival. It keeps the check-in very efficient so the crew at Blue Ridge Boat Rentals can get you on your way to an amazing day on the lake.

Rented a pontoon for half a day in July, just a week ago. The boat would need some work,…read morecosmetically, but it ran perfectly and got us all the way to the dam and back, went for a few swims on the way and had a great time. Evinrude engine was as good as new, nice and quiet also! The boat was clean and there's nothing wrong with an older pontoon anyway. Mike Webb runs the place and he's about as friendly and laid back as people can be. Just one hell of a nice guy. Four hours of rental and gas cost us all of $125.00. Bargain if you're asking me! We brought food and some drinks on board, there were seven of us and left the marina in no time at all. Perfect day on the water, the area is gorgeous. If the choice were to have a brand new pontoon and pay through the nose for it for a few hours or get this one with a few tears in the seating, the choice is easy. Put a towel over it and have a great time. Thanks Mike Webb, awesome place you've got there!

This is a great place to rent a pontoon boat for a fun filled day on the lake. Very convenient to…read moretown, a super nice guy who owns the place, and reliable, fun boats to enjoy the day. They let you take some noodles to use as floats, and their rental rates are about half (or less) the cost of other marinas. So why 4 stars and not 5? To me 5 stars implies luxury and the very best you could ever imagine. This is not a fancy place, but definitely suits my style. We rented at another marina a few weeks ago, and they said we used 23 gallons of fuel in 3.5 hours. We were stopped for an hour to eat and swim, and we idled around for about 30 minutes, which means we were using at least 10 gallons per hour while we were going. Doing the same thing at Dukes, we only used about 8 gallons. This tells me he keeps his equipment in better operating condition! The bottom line is that our half day rental at Dukes cost a total of $128 with gas and tax, the one from Mountain View Marina was $304. We had just as much fun on the boat from Duke's. I'll save the money (and enjoy the convenience of Dukes location) for my boat rentals in the future.
