I think they are beautiful, but I love putting make up on daily so I wasn't sure how that would work, especially since I love a dramatic looks & of course you have to up keep them because then they will fall off before the normal time frame. Well I saw how beautiful they were on my friend Sammie & she suggested for me to got to SamieLash to get them done if I really wanted to, so I went for it. I got my appointment & SamieLash immediately got in contact with me and asked me if I had any questions or concerns that she can address first hand. We talked about care and about make up etc. She is the most professional and sweetest person you can work with. Her number one goal is your eye health, so she makes sure that your clear on timing and what you can and can't have in your eyes and ensure that if you have sensitive eye, that she knows upfront. I think that is KEY! She takes approximately 4-4.5hrs to get them done and it's just fine considering she takes her time making sure each individual lash is properly placed. Upon completion, she gives you instructions on how to take care of your lashes and makes clear she is always available if you have any other questions or concerns. She is absolutely amazing & I'm definitely going back again to do my fills. So having this lashes on do help my natural ones grow more then before. Look at it like when you paint your nails it protects them from breaking. I have had lash extensions done several places and I do not recommend this place!!…read more The saloon was cute and Alease was nice but kept having to stop to take phone calls and do other things while she was doing my lashes. Then she scheduled another appointment in the middle of mine so she was going back and forth between us. You have no privacy here and are on a table in front of the bathrooms in this large open space. I asked for short and natural and instead got long and curly, definitely not natural or what I asked for. The lashes are synthetic and feel very hard, cheap and plastic and not soft or comfortable at all. The eyelash extensions were done very quickly and improperly. Instead of adhering them to my natural lash she instead adhered most of them to my eyelash lid!!! When I got home I noticed if I blinked hard it hurt and anytime I touched the lashes (like later to clean and brush them) it hurt. It hurt because she glued huge clusters of hairs to my eyelid!! In fact she glued most of the extensions to my actual eyelids..... in clumps. Don't go here! I have had several eyelash extensions done in multiple salons to compare this too and this was by far the worst. Go to someone who will take the time and use quality lashes applied in the proper manor. See pictures for an example of the clumps that were adhered to my eyelids And by the way Natalia no one ever reached out to me.... nor would I ever say anything like that quote you falsely attributed to me. I believe you can request your preference of where you'd like to get them done as long as the back room isn't being used for a waxing client. The ladies here are very nice and easy/fun to talk to. It caught my eye as I was on my way to…read moreanother shop. I stopped in and scheduled and appointment for a lash enhancement. I have been wanting (semi) permanent eyeliner for years and was really excited to finally get it done. The procedure itself was virtually painless. There were only a couple of times on the lower lids that it felt pokey. Otherwise it was fine and just felt like someone was moving my lashes around. I followed the care instructions to the letter but when it was time for the touch-up (included in the price to even out anything that healed wonky) there was nothing there. I looked as though I never had the procedure done. For a few days after the procedure I woke up looking like I had slept with mascara on. I sleep on my back so this wasn't a pillow rubbing or anything. They told me it sometimes happen and that we would try again and I would still be able to get the touch up later at no additional charge. So, we tried again. My technician asked for assistance from another towards the end and they adjusted the needle depth. The upper lid felt the same as the first time but the lower lid was considerably more uncomfortable toward the outer corners. The lines looked different than the first time and I did not experience any "smudging" this time. I was very excited and hopeful for success. Unfortunately, it still didn't hold. When I went back in to see what could be done and if I could get my money back and I was told no that there are no guarantees and no refunds. My paperwork does say there are no guarantees but no where does it suggest that I might end up walking away with nothing. It talks about swelling, bruising, pigment irregularity and fading (in spots or over time), lash loss, corneal abrasion and infection but not one word about it not staying at all. In the end, they offered me a facial as a consolation which, I suppose, is better than nothing. Be aware that this is possible before you sign on the dotted line and put your money down. What are percentages? Idk...but know that it is possible and it does not matter if you are light or dark skinned. All that said, I am very much looking forward to my facial. :)
