I came in hoping for the smooth, long-lasting results that are promoted on the salon's website and social media. I was told the treatment would last between 6-10 months. I followed all the aftercare instructions exactly--using sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner and blow-drying my hair after every wash. After the very first wash, my hair went back to being frizzy and curly. I reached out and was offered a touch-up, which I accepted. But after the second treatment, the results again faded in under a month--and that's when the tone changed completely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From that point on, they kept shifting the blame to me. First, they said maybe I wasn't blow-drying correctly or not using sulfate free products. Then they suggested it might be new hair growth--even though the frizz was mid-length. Finally, they told me my hair type might not be suitable for the treatment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But that's something a professional should determine before performing a chemical service. It's not acceptable to blame the client after the results don't hold up. What made things even worse is that I've been experiencing severe hair fall since the treatment--something I brought to their attention, but again, it was dismissed. This wasn't just about the treatment not lasting--it was about damage that has affected my hair's health and appearance. I asked for a partial refund or full usable credit. After weeks of back and forth, they offered a credit--but limited to 30% per visit. That means I would need to spend $500 just to redeem it fully. On top of that, they repeatedly called the credit a gesture of "generosity" or a favor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Honestly, that felt shaming and dismissive. I was super skeptical of getting my lashes done but wanted to try it out prior to a wedding I had. Before going to Nora, I made an appointment at a local salon in Winter Park, and after getting them done was not impressed. The Winter Park salon was totally not affordable and the equivalent of Nora's 3d style was falling out like crazy after a few days. My coworker recommended Nora this past January, and I haven't looked back. SHE IS AMAZING! Her quality and price is like none other that I have found or heard of. She is a perfectionist, which being nit picky myself, I love. She takes her time to explain the different products and how to properly care for your extensions and natural lashes. She is super careful and gentle so much so that I embarrassingly have fallen asleep multiple times as she's pampering me. One of my worries was also that my natural lashes were getting damaged. After 8 months, I mentioned this to Nora and she assured me that my natural lashes were still super healthy. She snapped a picture and sent it to me later that night and it honestly took me a second to realize that they were my natural lashes, not my extensions. Still super healthy after all this time! I constantly get complimented on my lashes in public and get asked where I get them done. I've tried different styles, lengths, and varied from 3D and 2D, they all look AMAZING! (See pictures attached). Typically, they last me 5 weeks and still look super fresh. I actually even stopped wearing makeup because I feel complete with my lashes.
