The receptionists that I met were welcoming and professional and made sure I had all the right forms to fill in. They answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. My appointment with Mark Hansen, the physiotherapist, went very well. He was very gentle, very thorough and easy to talk to. He answered all my questions and has great knowledge of your muscles. He told me how to get rid of the pain through certain exercises. I would highly recommend this clinic to others because it was professionally run. Just ask for Mark at LifeMark. To sweeten the deal, members of your immediate family can use your membership to obtain the discounted rates. I went to Massage Addict when I had a severe pain that didn't resolve with anti-inflammatories over several days. I won't lie to you: it hurt. A lot. From past experiences, I thought that the next day would be agony - but surprisingly, I didn't have a single ache and the initial problem had disappeared. I highly recommend Massage Addict. They provide a professional, discreet service for a very reasonable price. I hope they stick around Halifax for years to come.

Beware... My wife use to go here all the time…read more One day, computer system was down and they were unable to submit the insurance. Lucky, since she was a regular customer, they made her pay out of pocket; even though the could have just submitted it later that day (like they had done many times in the past). She asked they to put her payment aside and return it after they process her insurance later that day. They said, no problem. From there we called and called and called and they keep saying the system was down (which was not true). Then we find out that they mailed it to the insurance company which takes (2 weeks to receive, 1 week to process, and another week of so for them to mail us a check). This place doesn't understand the value of repeat business... Don't give them your business.

I had the very good fortune to observe with Qing as part of my studies in TCM. She is a warm, caring, and super knowledgeable Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She's been in practice for 30 years, she was trained in China, and you couldn't be in better hands for treatment in Halifax. I watched one case come into her clinic so crippled up with pain he could hardly walk. 3 treatments later - he DANCED out the door. I watched her treat all kinds of complaints with very good results.
