The level of service I received from the owner of this realty company was terrible and I think much of it was racial bias along with other biases because communication and overall service was terrible. Erik Lee is the worst realtor I have ever dealt with. His communication skills are horrible at best. Trying to resolve issues with him is like telling a rock to move. He'd rather just take your money and run into the grass like the snake he is. It may seem all fine and dandy for the first few months but trust me when I say it gets worse. He will treat you as though your issue/problem is nothing to him when something actually happens. We moved out and apparently the place wasn't clean enough. In communication with I'm setting up for cleaners to come out and he just snakes out of the emails and swipes my deposit out from under my nose; basically didn't even give me the chance to rectify the problem from my end. The property manager for this company does not have a lick of customer service. Erik's communication is the absolute worse I have ever experienced as far as business manners. The upstairs neighbor flooded both tenants below them (one of them being me) and there were no follow-up as to how to fix the water damage in the walls and flooring. They just hired a company to stick a gigantic, hot and extremely loud humidifier in the middle of the hallway blocking any access to my doorways for five days straight with no accommodation for the excessive electric bill from the not so wonderful experience. Erik had the audacity to ask about rent payment through the COVID-19 pandemic with no remorse to if families were affected or not. When I got locked out of my apartment he did not send out a mechanic for the maintenance request I sent and texted me back instead of returning my calls. When I asked if he had my spare key- he did not even have one and I know the previous managers did. He advised me to hire a lock-smith that cost me originally $180 out of pocket and luckily was able to talk them down to $99 when the apartments should have covered the costs for not being prepared. Then when to schedule my move-out walk through was completely uncooperative. Asked what date and then could not make it. Asked me to drop off keys with no location then asked me to send them with no address. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS GUY. read more

I cannot caution you enough on the dangers of using this company!! All I can do to help prevent my experience from happening to others is to let them know what happened to me. First off, the lack of service from beginning to end was sub-par at best. It would take days to get a response and god forbid something happened in the rental and I needed to order maintenance because it would require a barrage of inept service men who would schedule multiple appointments to fix one small issue. They will collect and hold a very large security deposit on the rental with the intention of never giving it back to you. The home owners and Now Realty Group use this money to either pay themselves fees and/or do owner desired home improvements upon leaving the rental. This was never disclosed, and in fact they continually reminded me that I would be receiving a check back for my deposit at the end. Not only did I not receive MY money back but they send a bill in addition to saying that they used the money to make home improvement upgrades!!!!!!!!!! If I had broken something, put a hole in a wall, scratched paint, etc. I would understand... but they used every dollar and then some for items I had nothing to do with. This operation is a total scam. There are a thousand different options for you out there regarding a rental in the Portland area, there is NO need for you to risk being scammed out of your hard earned money by a corrupt operation. -Ron read more

Renting with this group was an okay experience. Once Erik requested entrance without 24hours notice to show our unit to potential new tenants. They also tried to take a huge percentage of our deposit, only to be renegotiated after I citied laws that were being broken, and it was corrected. Poor communication once we put in our notice on what they expected us to do upon moving, due to his employee Laurie. Most of the duration of my time with them was fine, but there were some really negative interactions that are just down right now permissible. Also took them over a month to finally get our washer/dryer fixed. Before the end of our time with them, I would have rated higher. The relationship was very good until we decided we had to find a new place, and we were very caught off guard by the sour shift in disposition. If you rent with them, I suggest keeping everything in email for your records. read more

I've used Erik Lee of Now Realty Group for my last two PDX Metro home sales. As a former RE investor I had the pleasure and mostly displeasure of working with a lot of realtors around town. Erik Lee far surpassed my expectations on both transactions of what is asked of a realtor. He is honest, incredibly responsive and does have the client's best interest in mind. This is a horrible and dishonest propert management company. If you rent from them be very careful. We luved in a small 2 bedroom apartment. Shortly after we mived in mokd began to cone through walls in several areas. I immediately informed them and sent pictures. Ratger than them do anything aboyt it they stated it was from my animals urine and spray. My cat is fixed and ladt i checked a small dog and a cat cannit urinate up walls, on ceilings and behibd furniture. I have had many people over and every obe will tell you my place never smelled if animal urine. So bad we had to throw out most furniture when we moved. Tenants will not repirt issues for fear of getting kicked out. Laurie will ask neighbors to get info on people so badiclly "spy" on them. Lease violations are non acceptable for some while others can get away with anything. The moment you quedtion them or chalkenge them they will get rid of you. I have been lied to and lied about. Mailed my rent in on the 5th most every month, nothing ever said. No late notices sent until several months later they tacked out $200. Late fee for all those months. Im not the only one who has had issues. A 70 year old lady lives in fear of eviction because of the way they get rid of people. The list goes on. BE CAREFUL AND CAUTIOUS!!!!!
