I am so incredibly livid with this company. We went to them for our 2022 and 2023 and 2025 taxes. The first year was great. The second year, they filed our taxes late so we received penalties and they never took ownership so we went to someone else for our 2024 taxes. This year we decided we'd try them again... big mistake. We submitted our tax information through their app and I sent them a message requesting they file an extension for us. I didn't receive any confirmation but assumed, since we signed the form stating they were going to be our tax preparer, that they filed the extension. I have spent WEEKS trying to get a hold of them. Through their app, their email, and phone with no response. I just got off the phone with the IRS and an extension was never filed so now we have until the end of the month to file. read more

I was referred here by a friend who filed her taxes here. She said they were very friendly and quick to respond, however that was NOT that case with me. I inquired for their services on last day of January. They told me where to send all of my information which would be through an app so I did. I had some questions about certain things so I directly messaged Vincent via the app and I received no answer. There was little to no response through the month of Feb besides telling me to schedule a zoom meeting to discuss all my paperwork which was actually a great call. My call was March 6 and Vincent was very helpful with all my questions, but turned out I needed to gather a few more things before filing my taxes. I submitted them about 6 days after that zoom meeting. March 18 I receive a message from someone stating that they're updating my paperwork. March 28th, I reached out to ask for an update and no response. I called the office twice and two different people picked up to leave messages for Vincent and nothing. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and just be patient but I think waiting 2 whole months for poor communication and no movement in my case is kind of ridiculous. Especially when I know my friend had her taxes filed pretty quickly. I wish things worked out or someone would at least COMMUNICATE with me what was happening. Now I have to scramble and find someone else to do it for me before the deadline. Don't take on new clients if you don't have the time of day to communicate. read more

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! save yourself the headache, I don't know who is worse, their receptionist, vincent (my tax professional) or Andrea (his assistant. Absolutely ZERO communication, their complete disregard for their clients, I can't say 1 good thing. We had an initial 30 minute zoom meeting with Vincent and after he needed to send us the documents to fill-in in order to complete our taxes. Long story short he NEVER sent us these forms, I called him 3x all 48 hours apart and sent 3 texts. I also messaged his assistant and she was no help. it's like these people live across the country from each other and use snail mail to communicate with each other. It's so frustrating and doesn't make any sense. So 2 weeks later it's time for our FU zoom meeting and we haven't heard from Vincent and he misses our appt. I finally get ahold of Andrea and she said she will reschedule it. Next day HE MISSES IT AGAIN. Very unprofessionals. Lack of communication is astounding. Incorrect filing caused penalties. Did not consult before filing AND filed using an incorrect address! We received a letter from the IRS letting us know that our address had been changed to the filing address and we will no longer be receiving mail at our current address. We had to call IRS to straighten that out. Calling IRS is not a quick task. Would not recommend. Taxes are too important to leave in incompetent hands. read more

These dudes are assholes. I was referred to Channee by a good friend. I'm mad at her. I made an appointment and had to wait three weeks and painfully had to reschedule that appointment. I rescheduled two weeks ago to do them tonight. I had to reach out to him to ask how he wanted to handle our appointment given the current stay at home order. He said we would need to email over our tax documents and he would call. I'm under the impression it would run like a normal tax appointment but over the phone. A little faster bc he already has our docs. Our appointment time comes and no call. I check my email and 4 minutes before our appointment time he had his associate Jonathan email me basically asking for everything. Address Occupation Deductions Dependents Write-offs Well damn, if you're going to copy and paste my email what the hell do I need you for?!? I can do Turbo Tax! I specifically relayed to him that I had questions about a few things! If you were going to do all of this by email why did I have to wait two weeks on the appointment?! Channee couldn't have taken the two minutes to call and let me know that he overbooked himself and to ASK me if I minded Jonathan doing them? I see now via some of the reviews that these guys are jerks. They might be good tax guys but that's all relative to a certain extent unless, they're rigging people's finances for higher returns. Point blank they don't value new clients and they aren't cheap. This experience gives me no reason to trust they'll really take their time to make sure my return is filed correctly anyway. read more

Probably my account is too small for there company that this young owner doesn't care , They never return call , messages and emails, they did everything half way ad never followed or solve the problem. Awesome guys set up in a little house. Great for F&B workers, I have been going to them for the last 3 years and although I don't live in SD anymore I plan on continuing going to them for my taxes. They really take the time to make sure you get the best possible refund. I went in there one year owing a bunch of money and they cut it down so low I didn't even care that I wasn't getting a refund at that point, I was just so grateful.I've recommended a couple of friends there and they like them as well. I'd say they cost less than going to HNR and you'll get more back and also get more back than doing it yourself.
