The young friendly lady started and I could see she wasn't very used to painting nails since she was taking more time than usual (even to remove my old nail polish) and also, she was applying too much nail polish (layers and layers.) I could have done that job by myself at that point. Not only ahe took way more time than usual (45 min) but she also didn't do a great job at the end. She even told me I wouldn't be late for work (obviously she doesn't know anything about my life and how much time it takes for me to go to work), but I was. I had a one-hour window to paint my nails and they failed to fit that window. I'd recommend that place given the previous positive reviews, but I'd make sure I get someone qualified next time and for everyone who goes there.

I visited Rouge with my mom to get a gel manicure. The girl who did my nails was very sweet and did…read morean excellent job. Her name is Pamela and I highly recommend her. The manager was a little rough around the edges and was loud when talking to her employees. I was getting my nails done and could hear all of the drama going on between the manager and the workers. It seemed very unprofessional and made me uncomfortable when it should be a relaxing experience. They play videos on big screen TVs so that you can watch while you get your nails done. The manager put on Bridget Jones Diary and I was so upset. That is such a nasty movie and there was a little girl getting a princess manicure in the salon. About midway through she changed the movie. Thank God! Still not impressed with her first decision of even playing such a filthy movie. Warning: don't go for a pedicure if you're expecting a massage chair. The girl literally brings out a large bowl for your feet to soak in. No comfy chair, no jets, just a bowl.

The locker rooms were very clean, and there were plenty of pools and saunas to choose from at varying temperatures. When it's very cold outside, your hair freezes right on your head! Yet you will still feel very toasty and warm. Many say they enjoyed the aufguss - I also did, especially the addition of the music and lights to add to the ambience. However, take note that this ritual is often very crowded and can get very very hot, especially if you have already been in a warm area for sometime. Things can get busy even on a weekday, so I would recommend making a reservation in advance. I would heartily recommend this spa to anyone visiting the area!
