After visiting a different dentistry group that told me I needed 6 root canals (when I knew my…read moreteeth did not need that amount of work), I called Jackson Family Dentistry and they booked me 2 days later. I explained to the doctor (Dr. Sclafani) what was happening and he confirmed that he is very conservative and came back with 3 root canals needed. We did all the xrays again and came up with a plan. I started on my plan and while I am very pressed with time/life, I plan on going back soon to finish up the remainder of work needed. Doctor Sclafani is a really nice, down to earth guy and understood what I wanted to do and took the time to listen. The #1 most important thing a dentist needs to do is LISTEN and OBLIGE wherever possible - And Dr. Sclafani did that for me. His front office were very friendly and chatty and so far all is going great. Nice guy, nice staff and a nice family atmosphere.

Usually with a dental hygienist they're much too hard and it's so painful they have to scrape it manually which takes forever and the results are nowhere near as good. Innova has a great Dentist and he is thorough and very friendly. It's obvious he knows what he's doing and I never once felt like I was going to jump out of the chair. I have to carry an anxiety med to the dentist at every visit just in case I can't get through the whole thing without a panic attack but the visit was perfect. Wasn't too long-got a beautiful cleaning and fixed the bonding on my upper front and lower front teeth. I recommend this practice highly. The people are over the top friendly and welcoming. First time I've ever been comfortable at a dentists office. No joke! Will happily be back for the real work next time, novacane and fillings. Not worried at all. I'm in good hands!

There are a few reasons why I love Freehold Family Dental. I have been going for quite some time…read moreand have seen several dentists; I've liked them all. It's great to feel that if one dentist isn't there that day, you can always see someone else and have a similar experience. I usually see Dr. Scott. On my last visit, Dr. Sekhon filled a small cavity, and it was a very painless and quick procedure. I'm not a huge fan of going to the dentist to begin with, but she made the experience easy. I've had two cavities filled there now and I've had one tooth pulled, and I haven't had any issues. The dental assistants are all really nice and caring and I've never had an issue getting an appointment. I've recently moved out of the area and will certainly miss this group if I have to switch dentists.
