Great Product and Marvelous Service. We recently had 11 aluminum frame windows in my 57 year-old tri-level house and the service we received was FAR better than anything we had expected. We received an estimate $22,000 less than a nationally advertised specialist. The product we received was flawless and exactly what we wanted. Time from acceptance of the bid until the windows were installed was less than five weeks. The installation crew, David and Cameron, were consummate professionals. They worked quickly, wasted no resources and completed the installation of all 11 windows in less than a day and a half. After they finished, both of them scoured the property where they had worked, inside and out, searching for tools, equipment and supplies they may have left behind. Finding none, they cleaned up what little residue they hadn't already taken care of outside the house, cleaned the area where they parked, and wished us a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Other service businesses should use Nu-Vu Glass as a model to emulate. Perfection is hard to achieve and rare to find, especially since the Covid-19 fiasco. Nu-Vu Glass is one of very few businesses I can happily send good friends and family to when they need home glass service. Sorry to be so verbose, but it's hard to compliment them enough. As for star ratings, there should be at least two more stars to reflect an accurate impression of this absolutely superlative business. read more

Called to get a quote on a front windshield, After gathering our information Troy gave a quote of $160, we called other places in town and they had the best price so we scheduled to have it fix through them, when picking up the vehicle the total amount was $260 not $160. After calling Troy to figure out why he claimed to have heard the recording of the call and that he did say $260, I decided to reach out to someone else as either I was going crazy or something! Spoke to Mason who forwarded the recording of the call confirming the quote given was $160 and they would be refunding back $100. Honestly if Troy would've been honest and OWNED his mistake it would've been whatever but to lie and say he heard the recording of the call and that he was right is ridiculous. Their staff isn't the nicest and clearly not the most honest. I do not suggest bringing business to them. read more

4/19/2024 Update: Arrived 30 minutes early as suggested at the NU Vu glass shop in Twin Falls and the technicians started immediatly on windshield replacement. I was told to allow 3 hours for the glass replacement and safety equipment calibration. I follow up called 2.5 hours later to see where things were at and technicians were close to being done. When picking up the car, employees and I got in a conversation about the cost of the FOB's being so expensive at the dealership. They were so helpful in sharing a business that can do replacement very reasonable. Followed up with this as we had lost one of two and only replacement was as a pair at $500. Got one FOB replaced at less than $100. Nu VU glass is now our "go to" folks for ALL window, screen issues. Excellent job. Zane Austin read more

I called to make appointment for 4-12. Thought I missed the appointment so I called to apologize and reschedule. The manager told it was ok and that they didn't have the windshield anyway. So rescheduled for 4-14 around 1:00pm. Showed up sat there for 11/2 hrs and finally went to the counter and asked what was taking so Long and the gentlemen behind the I asked him for the manager and he said he was the manager. So I asked for his boss he said he doesn't have a boss. So I asked for the owner and he told me that the owner doesn't like being bothered. read more

Well our screen door window broke and I called nuvu. The girl I spoke with gave me an impression that it will be taken care of the same day. At the end of the day I got a call saying it takes 1 to 2 days to get the glass and one to two days to install. Wed comes around and I have not heard from them so I text. They say they are busy. Ummmm not my problem. Should have been communicated before. Lady tells me she wont argue with me. My response was I hope not. After all I am a paying customer and want what i paid for. She said she will cancel someone else. I really didnt care if she does or does not. Not my problems. The people that installed did a good job. I wasnt home. when I first visited I thought the price was high but everything seems high right now. they gave me an estimated day of completion on the window frame I dropped off. I had to call the day it was expected to be done, they said the glass came in yesterday bring in the frame. I said its there. "Oh okay we will call when its done. Two days went by then it was a holiday weekend so I waited and the next day they were open I called. They tell me it was done last Friday, they couldn't bother to call. will not return. read more

I had visited the store before to purchase shower door trim. I returned a few months later to purchase more of the same trim. The lady behind the counter acted the same as before; seemed upset that I was there bothering her. After waiting a longer than average time, as usual, she was able to help me. She brought out the product that I needed, and I had an idea of how much it would cost, since I had purchased it before. When I was told the price, I paused, because it was twice the price as before. I informed the lady that the price wasn't correct. She impatiently pounded on the keyboard of the computer screen that she was using to check the price. She said nothing as if to apologize or acknowledge that I was correct, but only snapped out the new lower, correct price. I felt that I had offended her, or that I had done something wrong. Is this any way to treat a return customer? I purchased the product and left, never even receiving a "thank you." A few months later, I needed more of the same product, but I didn't return to Nu-Vu, even though it's one of the few places in town that stocked the item. I would have rated this place at zero stars, but it wasn't an option. I've seen friendly people in California. What a disappointment. Must have more business than they need. Hopefully, she wasn't the owner, and if so, I doubt the owner knows about the business he/she is losing. read more

Dissed my elderly parent who had financial means to pay for windows. Did not come through with follow up call or estimate. Very conceited salesman sporting his sunglasses and did not acknowledge my elderly parent. Anderson Window customer service also does not seem to care how their customer service reps are handing situations. Well, it's been approximately another two months since my second contact when they never got back with me for my first estimate which I was suppose to have in a 24 hour turn around, when in fact salesman gave me a deadline of 5 p.m. on a Thursday to get my estimate. It's June now, have I seen an estimate? I wouldn't take it now anyway. What a waste of time this was for me. read more

My husband went in to Nuvu glass to get a quote for an egress window. The person that was there did not know anything about egress windows but said he would have someone call us. We never received a phone call. He went in again on a Thursday and finally talked to someone that could answer some of his questions, but they can't give you much information without measuring. He was told he would receive a phone call from someone at Nuvu on Monday to set up a time for them to come out and measure. No big surprise, no one bothered to call once again. read more

Well I had called them to get estimates there presentation was short and had to talk to someone in the store. Said they would reinstall alarms. after windows installed then said they couldn't. also after they got our down payment they called and said they forget a sliding window.
