He did not upsell and was very matter of fact and professional. I've delt with Wayne alarm years ago as I was a time Firefighter and this company was servicing a residential are. They where then and they still are very skilled at the work the do. Joe was the technician who came and Installed my alarm as promised on the date picked out. Joe was fast and very professional and knows his stuff. He evidently has been doing this for a very long time because he had no issues understanding what Barry and I agreed on as far as placement and execution of alarm Installation. I am extremely pleased with the work Joe did. Joe even got back to me in the early evening to make sure I was happy with alarm and that I understood how to operate it. I did have a couple quick questions and Joe answered them perfectly. Thanks Wayne alarm for everything. I appreciate you making my ho.e extra safe now. To many times do I read about Breaking and enterings as well as home invasions. I and my family feel very safe and yes satisfied with your great work. Thanks again! And thanks Barry and Joe ! You guys are great !

5 Star rating for Ryan Barry and the team at Wayne Alarm. I worked with Ryan for 2 weeks to get the…read moresystem up, running, and passed the Burlington FD inspection. Ryan had to coordinate the service team, install team and then back to the service team so they could be there when the Burlington Fire department could be there for this extremely complicated commercial grade alarm system in a residential home. Ryan was professional and knowledgeable. He recommended a path to get the system working. He understands both the service and installation sides, as well as providing excellent customer service.  My thanks also to Ryan D and Lisa for the communication and customer service. Thanks to Chris from service and both Dave and Joe from the installation team.   Ray Boutin, REMAX Innovative Properties

What began as a positive relationship eventually turned into repeated billing issues, including double charges and unexplained fees that required me to cancel autopay and change my card information. A major concern for future customers: Alarm New England locks their Honeywell Lyric panels with installer codes that they do not provide to the customer, even after the contract is fulfilled and the equipment is fully paid for. When I asked for the installer code, I was told I "did not have access" to it. This effectively prevents you from using your own hardware with another provider. Only after I sent a certified termination letter did the company suddenly reach out, offering to reset the code, but only if I powered the old panel back on, which I had already replaced. Service quality also declined over the years. One simple sensor installation took nearly an entire day, and phone hold times were often 20 minutes or more. I was also quoted an extremely high price for a basic battery replacement, which came with pressure to sign a new multi‑year contract. I have since switched to a local company that provides full access to my system, transparent pricing, and no long‑term contracts. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to research alternatives before committing to Alarm New England.

False alarms that they can't correct without hundreds of dollars in extra charges and long wait times to get resolved.

I am now using them but not sure of the junk on my roof is worth it. Think twice before hiring this company. The contract and the rates are in their favor 300%. If you want solar power buy your own panels if you can afford it. But this company has a long way to go as they grow they seems to lack the basics

The technician arrived and asked to go on the roof first to check on the condenser. After about 30 minutes he came back and told me that there were several things wrong with it and that the whole system needed to be replaced. I asked if he wanted to look at the air handler in my crawl space but he said that there is no need that the whole thing needed to be replaced and that with a crane rental the total would be about 20k. I asked when I could have someone here to give me a quote and he said they can have someone here within an hour and that they would be calling me. No one ever called. He left and I called JF HVAC for a second opinion. He came over the same day and looked at the condenser on my roof and said it was fine and then looked at the air handler and said that the drain was clogged and the emergency switch had been switched off. He drained an entire shop vac full of water out and switched it back on and it works perfectly now. My guess is that Cranney technicians get commission for convincing homeowners that they need a whole new system even when they don't. Very shady, don't use them!!
