As anyone who loves vintage sports cars knows, it's tough to get original parts for them. Recently, the power antenna on my 37 year old vintage mint 1979 Rx7 broke. As the original owner of this car I wanted to get a part that was as good as the original. I wasn't able to source one from the dealer so I contacted George and he was able to find and source a compatible, high quality universal power antenna for my car. He also told me that he has a fellow vintage car aficionado, Reggie, who could install it for me. I could tell Reggie was into vintage cars because he was interested in the car's history and he was very careful dismantling the car to get access to the internal wires. John and his staff really know what they are doing. They are very honest and truly care about their end product. I had a Pioneer AVIC-8200NEX Navigation receiver with and SeriusXM tuner installed on a 2013 Honda Civic, they geniously figured a way to have the back up camera display on both my screens. I had to go on vacation in another country while the car was being worked on, they were more than willing to keep the car with them (saves on airport parking) AND they picked me up from the air port (if you can believe that). While I was away, they kept me informed on the progress and were willing to send pictures. My only suggestion is to know what you need before you show up, do the research on the products yourself and be prepared to ask for what you want, anything after that they will take care of your car as if it were their own. read more

I consistently choose Number 1 Sound for my car audio installations. The first installation was 10 years ago when stock decks did not come with AUX inputs. However, I did not want to connect my after market Sirius Satellite radio via the FM frequency. Number 1 Sound was able to connect it directly to the rear of the head unit without any wires shown. They went outside the box to solve that problem. Recently I went back to replace the stock head unit in my 2008 Audi RS4 with a top of the line Pioneer NEX. I called the folks at Number One, the day before a long weekend, my stereo in my car died and I was headed out of town on a long car trip. George is the Best! This guy truly cares about you. I got a remote starter from him and coincidentally the car started stalling a short time after he put it in. He took the unit out and said drive for a while to see what happens, As it turned out it was still stalling and had nothing to do with the remote he put in. No one could figure it out, not even Toyota! The car is a Corolla, so you would think if anybody would get it, they would. I called George and he sent me to one of his mechanics and they figured it out in an hour, They ordered the part from Toyota, installed it and I was good to go! George was able to recommend a comparable and most likely better loudspeaker than what I was looking for in my price range from a US dealer! Let me start off by saying you'd be stupid to have your audio upgrades done by anyone other than Number 1 Sound in the GTA. George and his team gave excellent recommendations for upgrading my 2010 BMW 528i (E60) factory audio system, which included 2 Alpine amps, JL sub with BMW-fitted enclosure, Focal speakers in the front doors, plus turning the bass speakers under the front seats into mid-ranges. The installation work was the best I've seen and they maintained an OEM look throughout the car. I had a poorly installed amp and speakers on my VW Tiguan which were whining and crackling quite badly. The shop who sold me the equipment had thrown up their hands and said there wasn't anything which can be done about it. However, George and his team at Number One took on the task of fixing someone else's mess and within 1.5 hours, the whine was gone and so was the crackle. I was very comfortable with Robbie, and his recommendations were in line with what I wanted to spend. Worked with Liz and George to put a Pioneer touch screen bluetooth ready 2-DIN deck in my '08 Toyota FJ Cruiser. They were very helpful with emailed answers to my questions and when I went there in person to look at the different models. The install went smoothly and quickly, they were even able to accommodate my request to install 2x USB power/connection ports in the centre console behind the emergency brake and didn't charge me for the extra time it needed. I had 4 speakers that needed to be replaced. They diagnosed the problem for me and hooked a speaker up to show me before I made a decision. The place doesn't look much from the outside but the service was great. He installed 4 new speakers and put everything back together all within a couple hours.
