I was looking for a new stereo to bring my 2004 GMC XUV Envoy into the 21st century (coming from the original stock GMC stereo) and literally found Safe and Sound Installations via Yelp reading through their excellent reviews. So I took a chance and called to make an appointment and so am I glad I did! I spoke to Mohammed who was very professional, respectful and very knowledgeable from the beginning and right through my entire experience (not the least bit of pressure to purchase from Safe and Sound). I know very little when it comes to car stereo equipment, electronic car accessories and/or installations other than what I need the end solution to look / perform like. Not only did I purchase and have installed a new "touch screen" car stereo but I also had a rear camera integrated as well (I didn't even have bluetooth in my 2004 GMC XUV Envoy so these additions were a real treat!). Given the age of my truck there were some unanticipated challenges retrofitting the new stereo and rear camera which Mohammed (and Eddie) diligently researched and overcame (at no additional expense to me given there was much more effort involved then originally expected ... overall prices were fair, bang on to the original quotes ... with no surprises). They kept me informed through the whole process. The new stereo and rear camera looked and functioned exceptionally which was one of my main asks to Mohammed. I was so impressed, I made another appointment to have a remote car starter installed in my truck. Same high level of professionalism, respect, knowledge and service. I will also add here that Safe and Sound connected my new stereo (via CarPlay) and remote car starter (via the vendor mobile app) to be controlled seamlessly via my iPhone X (another one of my main asks to Mohammed). Even after all this work was completed, approximately three weeks later, Mohammed called me (on the weekend) just to check in to see if all that was installed was working to my expectations to which I told him "No ... in fact, very much above my expectations !!". For years I very was hesitant to go down this path with my 2004 GMC XUV Envoy given the age and how pristine my truck is but I can honestly tell you I am so glad I did and extremely happy that I chose to work through Safe and Sound to get me there. i came to mohammad's shop from out of town. i got wind of his shop thru yelp's glowing reviews. and i'm not disappointed! from the start, i felt that mo's treated me not just as a client but a friend. i brought a new stereo and rear view camera to install in my car. he explained to me clearly what needs to be done and how much it will cost me. he was busy that day but since i was from out of town, he and george, his able assistant, accommodated me and finished the job even if it means working until 9 pm that day! then mo even took the time to explain and show me how my new radio works! this guy truly knew what he was doing and he showed that he cares for his clients! i highly recommend them to everyone who needs their radio & lights installed and anything electrical done in their car. like me, i'm sure you will not be disappointed! and before i forget, mo and george, thanks again for the cold drinks and chocolate bars i ate while waiting. snack is free!! louis n. read more

Mohamed and his team are great. Mohamed gave me a rough estimate over the phone which a lot of places won't do. I went to meet him so he could see the vehicle and if there would be any challenges. The estimate in person was the same and he got the job done earlier than expected. The work is clean and professional. Great fair price too. I would highly recommend Safe & Sound Installations.
