He's very kind and explained everything involved in the process. He is clearly proud of the work he has performed and showed us beautiful examples of recently completed jobs. We got bids from numerous companies. Some were very high priced. Some in the middle. AZ West Painting was on the more reasonable end. But AZ West Painting does a much more involved process than several of the much more expensive options, so they were the clear winner. Cris and his crew arrived at the date and time they were scheduled and got the job done well within the estimated time of completion. In fact I think they were done possibly a day early. They spent a good part of the time repairing damaged cabinets and prepping for the actual painting. They installed new hardware of our choosing, they installed crown molding. After the painting was completed we were floored. It made our 19 year old house look brand new. Cris and his crew did an amazing job and I cannot recommend him enough. If you need to get cabinets refinished this is the company to choose. I've attached 2 before photos which are from the MLS listing so they don't look nearly as bad as they actually did. The painting for my project…read morewas scheduled to commence first thing next week, but Chris decided to cancel our verbal agreement at the last moment, all due to a misunderstanding with the contractor, who has also been quite troublesome. After a phone call with the contractor, Chris voiced his concern regarding my payment(s) to the contractor for a city requirement before he could initiate the painting, essentially accusing me of failing to pay the contractor for the project. To begin with, you do not have the authority to dictate when I should pay for a service that you are not delivering. Furthermore, he was unaware that I had already completed two of the four payments for the project, and instead, he immediately took the contractor's side. Chris accused me without taking the time to verify the facts or engage in a mature dialogue about the situation, and instead insisted that I resolve this issue with the contractor. I tried to clarify that I had already made the necessary payments to the contractor and expressed my confusion at being accused of this, offering to provide proof of payments, to which Chris replied, "Okay, I'm out. Good luck." I find this behavior to be exceedingly rude and unprofessional. How ironic that they advertise Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed on their website. Business 101: Customer service should be provided before, during, and after the purchase of a service. I will certainly not be reaching out to AZ West Painting for any future projects.

Charlie came to our home the same day we called and gave us a quote. We signed the contract and 3 days later our house was being painted. The painting crew was nice but we did have a couple of things that weren't done completely. We called Charlie right away and the painting crew and Charlie were back at our house within the hour and they made everything right. You'll always have some hiccups with construction but this company is family owned and they want to make sure your very pleased. Which is why they dont ask for any payment until the job is completely finished and you are happy with the results. Constantly showing up late, Even after…read morethey covered my stuff, my couch, TV and paintings all had their paint on it from sloppiness, there was over twenty spots that they messed up on the painting that was pointed out and acknowledged when the rep came out to check everything, then they blew us off for 2 weeks+ after saying they were going to fix it and to put a cap on the horrible service, they offered 20% back so we could hire someone to do it right and then changed it to 20% of 1 day's work(even though it took them weeks to do this horrible job) that wouldn't even cover it and left it at that and would not come back out to make things right. I was trying to upload photos but it just keeps giving me the loading sign otherwise I would have quite the plethora to show here that they have seen. This is by far the worst painting experience I have ever had and the fact that they leave you hanging just to say "you deal with our mistakes" shows me what little they care about the work they do. You couldn't pay me to ever recommend this company to someone else. I hate painting, but I would do it myself a hundred times to have never had to have this experience.
