I have purchased many pieces over the past year since I found N'used, the best to date so far was a gorgeous Armai blue and white silk dress that I snatched for song (paid less than 10% of the original price tag.) The store is well organized, has fabulous accessories, but what is better is that the selection is seasonal and rotates every 60 days. There is always something new coming in. The handbags that come in (and don't stay too long) are alone worth a trip. At the end of each season there is a $5 tent sale for outgoing items. Following N'used on Facebook keeps you in the loop to ongoing offers and great new arrivals. I love this place, and so does my tween daughter! The merchandise is clean, reasonably priced to reflect the condition, and super organized. The owner is super friendly also. The sales are really good too. They definitely have an extensive collection of used Coach purses and the merchandise ranges around this category of upper end goods. I love this shop. It's one of the best consignment stores in Northern Virginia. They have a large selection that is really well organized and the prices are good--generally a little cheaper than I expect (i.e. I see a jacket I like, guess it's $35 and instead it's $29). They also do voucher deals from time to time that are great. The people working here are always really nice and their dog is a total sweetheart (and I don't like dogs!). Only downside for me is that it's far away, but I always find cute things here. Always. This place is a gem! The staff is friendly and helpful, the selection is wonderful, the quality is amazing, the store is clean and organised. You may think it is pricey for used items but the items are in wonderful condition and are top shelf goods, so really you are getting a great deal on what you are purchasing. I went into the store for the first time based on the reviews and I was disappointed. The ladies in the store were cold and even when I told them this was the first time I had been there they didn't say a word. I've worked retail and had better service at Target. As a 40's girl I consider this store to have a limited selection for me in size 10/12 and although the clothes were name brand they were really out of date. Having shopped @ hundreds of consignment shops on the east and southern coasts, N'Used far surpasses any so far- artistic displays of beautiful items, large uncluttered space, convenient location, ease of consignment process, etc. Who of us love waiting in traffic jams inside the beltway? Although I live near Arlington, the drive on the Dulles Access Road takes less than 30 min. and moves @ a great pace. You or your Moms may even be reminded of the joy of shopping @ our wonderful Garfinkel Dept. Stores which sadly closed in 1990 after 85 yrs. of serving D.C. All good things to say! WOW! I am so happy I found this place! I was on a thrift/consignment store hunt and saw Nused in the listings and was surprised to see of all places it was in Herndon. So, what the heck I went to check it out and was more than pleasantly surprised. The owner has great taste and knows how to display product. There is a bit of everything and all of it is in great condition, there are even high end handbags and shoes. I love that she has handmade jewelry from various designers in the area! This wonderfully kept consignment boutique is truly a treasure. I love consignment shopping and finding bargain deals on quality items. Today was my first time visiting the store after reading reviews on yelp, so I had to check it out...especially after my not so great experience at Frilly Frocks located in Leesburg, VA (I do not recommend them, very poor customer service). N'Used however, was nothing but GREAT! Walking in, you immediately feel as if you found the best kept secret ever. Its adorned in chic boutique furniture, tasteful colors and lots of style. The dressing rooms are spacious and decorated very posh. Serioulsy, you must go and experience shopping here yourself. I personally am not a fan of department store shopping..so if you want to experience an ahh haa moment in fashion, then come here. The owner Rosemary, was very friendly and when I walked into the store, a staff member immediately welcome me to the store. I am very big on customer service. It makes a huge first impression. This is a great store with a nice selection of brands from Loft all the up to Chanel. The staff here is super friendly and glad to help or answer questions. If you're looking for a dress for a special event, definitely check here! I did notice that some of the items I was interested in had some hidden tears in the seams, so check carefully before purchasing. Also the pricing seemed a bit high on some items. For example, there was a Calvin Klein Jeans top marked at $25. You can get that brand at TJ Maxx or Macy's on sale new for that price! Also, you do not get an itemized receipt when purchasing, so I had no idea how much I paid for what. I wanted to double check the pricing on something, but wasn't able to do it. In summary, great store with lots of selection, but pricing may be a bit high for used clothing. read more

I enjoyed shopping here. The prices are a tad higher than what I'm used to in Falls Church, but I would spend the money if I found the right item. After two months, the price is reduced by half, so you can play that game, which is part of the fun. The lighting is very dim due to a very high ceiling, however, so it's hard to see colors (and small stains and pills) . All in all, I'll go regularly to check the inventory. read more

Everyone there is wonderful.....they all end up becoming your personal shoppers, finding things you things you might have overlooked or putting items together in ways you hadn't considered. I get the most beautiful and unique clothes there, and always end up getting lots of compliments. I just bought seven dresses there recently and the total price was equal to what one of them would have cost new. And, they are kid friendly. I've been meaning to post this for awhile but keep getting busy. Definitely says something that this is still on my to do list! I had only been to Nused once before. It was a Tuesday night and I was going to the doctor in the adjacent lot. I found out that the pain I had been in for 2 weeks was due to dislocated ribs. I was feeling down and out and thought I'd pop into Nused for a pick me up. Linda and Rosemary were closing in 15 min but were still super friendly and showed such sympathy for my pain. They made me feel at ease. In addition to buying 2 cute tops I left feeling lighter and happier and wishing I worked there or could share a bottle of wine with Rosemary and Linda. I was not looking to buy anything, just put some clothes for consignment. I had an appointment booked ahead. When I came the women were distracted and did not pay attention to me for a while, though the store was empty. It seemed like they were quite disorganized taking too much time with just one customer. I had a chance to look through the store and thought that most clothes looked and felt very cheap -- some of them might be brand names, but most of it was polyester and other synthetic fabrics. I also tried to call several times to inquire if anything had sold because I don't want to drive there in vain, all three times I was told they were too busy and I had to call later. It's extremely annoying and I am discouraged to bother selling with them. It's just not worth the trouble when you can do it faster with online sellers that send you a bag to fill and you are done. read more

Having never bought anything second-hand but only selling to consignment stores I curiously checked out this store. I came across a beautiful Chanel handbag (new would have been quite unaffordable). Rosemary, the owner and her staff were patient and friendly, giving me a couple of days to think it over as well as bring my husband in to check the bag's authenticity etc. I did buy the bag, have conditioned and cleaned the leather and it now looks gorgeous. I am the proud owner of a very beautiful Chanel bag at a more affordable price.. The owner and staff are definitely nice to work and yes some of the good are pricy but certainly in the case of a designer handbag so much more affordable. read more
