Very nicely organized, and clean as a whistle. You actually feel like you're shopping in a nice resale shop rather than a "thrift" store. The ladies who work there couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. They truly go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect, and it is much appreciated. I've started going just about weekly to see what treasures they've gotten in, and it's quickly become a very fun outing I really look forward to. Can't be beat! read more

I think most reviews here are from forever ago so a lot has changed. I'm a thrifter and found most their clothing old and out of date. OR if they were a brand name they were overpriced, you're better off going to the near by Salvation Army for a larger selection. But I recently stopped by Twice is Nice and felt as if I was rushed out the door, having 20 minutes left till they closed. The lady behind the register rudely shouted she wanted to get home and that everyone should be in line to check out. Way to run a business! Not only that, I waited in line and noticed every person was getting a bag for their things (as you should when you go shopping to a store). When it was my turn I checked out and the lady left my things on the table..so I asked if I could also get a bag. She grunted and I guess had to go out of her way to get one? (When it was simply behind her) and then she said we normally don't have bags available here and people bring their own. Even though without a question she handed 4 customers before me a bag for their things. I'd like to point out I'm Latina and felt as if I was treated differently than the other caucasian ladies in front of me by that simple ask of a BAG. My daughter was with me and also felt the tone in her voice was condescending.. will NOT be going back again. Please treat everyone equally, because it's not just about a bag it's about being respectful & kind. read more

Twice Is Nice is a wonderful gem amongst the many thrift shops in Loudoun County. It has only quality clothing and household goods - all in great condition and very reasonably priced. They always have some sort of special - like all blouses for $1, all clothing half off, etc. ! In addition, the merchandise is very well organized and the store is kept clean and very well organized. The sales staff (all unpaid volunteers) are not only friendly but also extremely helpful. I have missed my almost daily trips there due to their closure during the Pandemic. This thrift store is the best in Leesburg. What I liked most about it were the toddler clothes. They were cheap and in very good condition. They also sorted the toddler clothes by size. It seems like every time I go into a thrift store, the sizes are all over the place and I can't find anything. I also bought a book for a dollar about 1970s disco that's worth about $80. Can't beat that with a stick. The people in the store are also kind and helpful. Overall, I would definitely come back! read more

Twice Is Nice is another of the excellent thrift stores in Leesburg VA. I believe they are staffed with volunteers as well, but I am not sure what charity they benefit. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it is a lot of fun to shop there. They seem to have a fair amount of turnaround in their stock, particularly in the housewares section. Their furniture can be a bit overpriced, but many of their housewares are priced at an appropriate thrift store level. Unfortunately (or fortunately since their proceeds go to charity) they seem to have a pretty good idea about the true value of their items, so it is harder to find a real steal, but they are there if you're diligent about looking. Since it is a charitable store, I don't mind paying slightly higher prices for some things. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit. I recommend it. read more

The ladies at the checkout counter are so nice and friendly and cute!! I love talking with them. The prices aren't amazing, but they're standard for Leesburg thrifting. They have a nice clothes selection, jewlery, home decor, some clothes and bags, and some other things. They usually have a lot of baskets and some craft items. They also have some books. The men's clothing area is small though. read more

This is my go to thrift store. The prices are not rock bottom but the quality is amazing, lots of name brands, barely worn items, often there are items with the tags still on. Also the merchandise is very well organized and the store is kept clean. There are spacious dressing rooms with full length mirrors inside. read more

Twice Is Nice is the local thrift around me that I just love so much. It really is a hidden gem that not too many people know about. The employees who work at the store are absolutely the sweetest and the prices are just phenomenal. Being into vintage fashion, I came across some really cool pieces that I still wear to this day. I love the selection and how the clothes are always in such nice condition, it honestly does not even feel like a thrift to me, but more like a cute vintage pop up. Every time I want to spice up my wardrobe or try something new, I hit up Twice Is Nice for some inspiration and it never fails. I love taking my friends here who are interested in going thrifting and they always end up leaving satisfied. The set up inside is also very appealing and not cluttered like some thrifts are. I appreciate how there are multiple changing rooms to try on the clothes and to see how it fits before I purchase. Not only are the clothes really sick but the jewelry selection is super cute and dainty and I can never stop myself from buying a piece before I leave. This is easily the most well-kept thrift store I've ever been in! It's tucked into a strip mall, and has a good selection of glass and china, a smallish selection of furniture, and other items like clothing and books (I never purchase thrift store clothing, because I'm convinced that the smell will linger forever!) I have been donating to Twice is Nice for a couple years, and I also shop there. The reason I take my donations there is because of the manner in which they handle donations and that the proceeds go to help others with medical needs. The store is well staffed with volunteers who perform their services with excellence. The store is well managed and items are very nicely displayed. The store looks more like a retail store than a thrift store. Also, I buy nice items and take excellent care of them. When I donate them I want to know they will be handled with care, end up in the hands of people who will be benefited by them, and the proceeds will go to a worthy cause. Twice is Nice meets this criteria. There are other worthy charities and thrift stores around the Loudoun County area, but Twice is Nice is number one on my list. read more
