I have been a customer for 8 years at Campus Pointe. I will not be coming back after today. My partner lost his job due to illness, so our financial situation changed. We prioritized our health and fitness recovery through illness, my own surgery, and our drop in income, so we continued to purchase through Nutrishop. Today I asked the employee if there was a more affordable product than the one I had been using. Instead of answering my question, he told me to purchase the same product in a smaller size, which was still more expensive than the other brands. He immediately turned and left us without offering any actual help. He was incredibly awkward and ignored us, and he also helped other customers at checkout before us, even though we were at the counter first. He remained awkward and uncommunicative throughout. I would like to point out this employee was incredibly friendly, open, and helpful to other customers in the shop. He specifically did not want to help with our question about pricing and treated us differently for needing to make a budget-friendly choice. It's really a shame and a bad look for this business, and the experience disgusts me. We will never come back. read more

Heard of this place but never came here until Macy's held a #goyou event which incorporated fitness and nutritional facts altogether. WELL you know me. I'm an avid smoker that is wanting to quit like REALLY kick the habit and not just "quitting" and picking it back up. Recently just made a one year commitment to a gym I don't even know and went hard for about 2 weeks now. #hurtingforasquirting lol. I only max out because once I light up a cancerous stick I start gagging. RESULTS! Close to quitting. Right? I hope so. It with maxing out nightly my muscles are in definite need of repairing and recovery! Hello! Protein can only do so much! Well Linda the sweetest representative that I spoke to advertised BCAA and Erratic. She highly suggested pink lemonade for BCAA. Muscle repair. When doing demos for the public at the Macy's event she gave me samples of BCAA and protein shakes. It helped out so much. But the reason why I was waiting so long to get pre/during/ and post workout supplements was because I wanted to kick the bucket on the minty sticks I inhale on a daily basis. And because I'm so close to quitting, it's time to pick up supplements because I'm maxing out and I'm starting to feel extra achy. Went in 1/26/17 and met another sweet representative by the name of Hannah and she suggested the raspberry pineapple. I'm sad! At first taste it was delectable!! Tasty!! Very good. Promise you it was but after a couple of gulps. DAMN. I bought a 60serving bottle. Oh well pink lemonade next! What's 60 servings if I'm going 2 hours at the gym 5 days a week at 2 scoops per night. A scenario I'm all too familiar with: traveling for work, need Quest bars. I stopped in NutriShop to check it out. This location of NutriShop is located in a large retail/business park development off Palm Ave, so there is ample parking available (maybe not a concern in Fresno, but a relief for anybody based in LA). I also noticed they were conveniently located right across the street from the GB3 gym (which I regret not trying out while in the area!) NutriShop has a huge variety of products and the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable! I was really only there for the Quest bars, but it looked like they had a large selection of protein powders, BCAAs, and other supplements. They have such an incredible selection of Quest bars, I was so happy! I picked up a few new flavors to try at the recommendation of Luke and I'm super satisfied with the new maple waffle flavor (+ some hot coffee = joy). Thanks NutriShop for being amazing! read more

I really had thought Nutrishop (Palm) would be a bit more professional of how they speak to their brand loyal customers. So a piece of advice to anyone wanting to come on in to this location, be wary of when speaking to their employees as they will intentionally drag you. As (Eric A.) had put it, & had the audacity to publicize instead of sending a private message. I apparently have an extremely high BMI (34.1), but any fitness professional regardless of their background should know that BMI is an irrelevant scale of health, and is generally used for the masses, not nessesarily on a person to person basis. I absolutely agree, it's extremely high, and if you google a BMI chart you'll notice I'm "Extremely Obese". Something that should remain PRIVATE under the health privacy laws regarding a persons health. Lastly, if you'd like to visit your local Nutrishop, go for it, i absolutely back the products, just don't expect to receive proper information from the employees from this location, a decent body doesn't equate to knowledge. read more

Awesome shop! So I'm kind of sick of GNC I know what the have...know what they sell...and know how they try to keep your business with the gold card. A while ago I gave up on them and starting getting my stuff from Amazon cause the prices on Amazon blow GNC away. This shop is in a nice neighborhood intelligent sales people and offer a nice variety of products. I love me some food, but in order to love food as much as I do, I have to make sure I keep my weight in check. ;) I was introduced to this location by a health fanatic friend, and the thing that impressed me more than anything here was the wonderful girl working here, and how many samples she allowed us to have. Most "health products" have such a bad reputation - they taste chalky or gross, and it's hard to commit to a huge container of something without trying it. She allowed us to try multiple flavors, recommended products based on her own experience, and didn't have to consult anything when explaining how they worked or their effects to us. This place is awesome. They carry all the best products at the best prices in town and if they don't have it they are glad to order it for you. I can't say enough about the owner and his professionalism. He really cares about his customers. He never tries to sell you stuff just to make a sale. I walked over to this shop for the first time after dinner at Eureka!, and had no real intention of buying anything, just wanted to look around. The friendliness, professionalism, knowledge, and genuine concern for my needs at NutriShop was the absolute best I have ever experienced in any form of vitamin and supplement shopping. The owner was not at all trying to sell me on anything - in fact, I went it to look for certain supplements and he stopped and asked me some questions about my lifestyle, diet, exercise, etc., wrote some things down on paper for me and said, "Before you use anything, I'd really like to see some changes in your diet, particularly eating breakfast and getting your GI tract back on track." He literally was resistant to selling me any products and, as though I was consulting with a personal nutritionist or trainer, took time to speak with me about things that may help with my overall health goal considering the complications I'm currently experiencing. I ended up purchasing some amazing supplements anyway, because I thought they would be best for me - a very strong probiotic and papaya enzymes for my GI tract, and Lipocor for CLA, fish oils, and L-Carnitine to aide in skin, nail, hair strength, etc. He made great recommendations for me to try certain foods and find a routine that worked for me, since every day I wake up nauseous and unable to eat until 12pm or so (so he suggested even just some almonds, and a piece of fruit on an empty stomach to get the most nutrients, etc.). I'm quite knowledgeable about health overall - fitness and nutrition - and eat and exercise well, so I knew a lot about what he was talking about and KNEW what I should be doing to improve, but had difficulties doing so given my medical conditions. As he spoke more with me he understood that I was not ignorant or uneducated about this area and was very respectful, never talking down to me or like I didn't know anything, but also helping to assist me with a daily eating routine (literally, on a calendar-type paper), and other suggestions. Truly the best experience I've ever had in a nutrition shop and I cannot wait to go back and catch up with my changes and how they've been helping. Their products are very reasonably priced and they offer a lot of things that I feel confident and comfortable buying because of their natural ingredients - they offer a variety of some intense supplements as well as more natural, easy-going products for those who do not want harsh stimulants or manufactured ingredients.
