We like the fresh produce we like the fresh fish and cheese and other many things that they sell and have at Whole foods Market. The store is usually clean everything is placed properly and there's signage accordingly. We usually go through the self checkout but this time we went through the regular cashier line I scanned my Amazon prime code and was able to get discounts off of certain items that were on sale. read more

Despite having reported it to Yelp several times, their staff and systems are aloof and don't seem to care! It's been 6 years since my last review so thought I'd update. I had mentioned prior that they should get self check out and since then it has been implemented. I have not had any issues with their self check out and lines tends to move rather quickly. As far as employees, they are still hands off and mind their own, they don't check in or ask if you need help with anything. I always know exactly what I wanna get here and I know where it's at so I really don't mind that. I really enjoy the Amazon partnership. Since I am a prime member, I enjoy getting discounts and incentives. They have recently added in an Amazon station for any returns which is convenient. I also enjoy the curbside pick up order system as well. The quality of their prepared foods and bakery items are still up to par. The only thing that I've noted is the price has increased exponentially. I remember I could get a round birthday cake here for 20 bucks. Now it's more like 30 but everyone likes their cakes here especially the Chantilly with the fruit and the whipped cream- that cake will always stand the test of time and I do highly recommend it. The store is generally always clean and organized, which makes it easier to find what you need on your own. The bathrooms are OK they could be a little grimy at times. Overall, I do enjoy the store in the shopping experience. If you don't mind the prices, you can get some good quality items here. read more

Customer service is always good at WF. I shouldn't tell our secret! But they have good beer here. If you follow me, you know I like beer, but not any beer, craft beer. The type of beer I like are Quads, Tripel's , Dunkel's. Well we stubbled upon this one Shugga, and I like it! Came to purchase the Friday promo promotion fresh $1 oysters. Went right to the seafood counter and was informed per an employee named Anthony he could not shuck them for me in store. He said a minimum 2 day request had to be made over the phone prior. So just an FYI to anyone making a trip to be aware. I didn't see any sign of such rule stated . read more

It's my son's birthday so I went to go pick up a cake for him. He loves the chantilly cake, as the whole family does too! I don't remember the round cake being $39.99 tho. Hmm... still grabbed it anyway cus it's only his birthday once a year. Service was excellent. I asked for the lady to put only his name on the cake since I already had a cake topper that said happy birthday, and she did it perfectly and was really nice. Checking out was a breeze cus I just used the self check out. Barely anybody was using it. I was in and out just like that. First time doing an Amazon return at Whole Foods Market. Yea, not sure why Yelp allowed a name change edit to "Fresno Sandwich" and it was quite confusing to search for Whole Foods on the Yelp app and no search returns due to this name change. Anyhow, you walk up to the Amazon kiosk and grab a plastic bag to seal your return in. Then you scan your QR code on the kiosk and it prints out a label for you to slap on the bagged item. Then you put it in the drop box. Warning, if your Amazon return is larger than 14 inches long, it's not going to fit in the bags provided. I got my refund just a few hours later. read more

Sorry but I really have to consider the fact that they need more of a thorough handling and sorting of what is still fresh and not. I do like eating seafood and fish so if the smell is off putting to me, it would definitely set off a non-seafood lover. I started taking Calm magnesium at night for a better sleep. I'm sad when I run out but also happy because one of my favorite things to do is visit Whole Foods. I love to see all the new products they have. When you walk in you're greeted by the warmth and savory smells from the hot food bar. The ready made food/deli area consists of a basic salad bar, a hot food and soup buffet, pizza and sandwich counter as well as a bakery. I love to come and grab a cup of soup, Indian samosas or maybe a slice of pizza. Then I grab magnesium or whatever else I need or find. I check out at the self checkout and walk out to my car and enjoy my food while I people watch and listen to a podcast. I'm a busy mom so it's like a little reset for me. read more

The bakery at the Fresno Whole Foods is top notch! The berry chantilly cake is our favorite..perfectly moist with just the right amount of sweetness and consistently good every time (we've bought it at least 6 times). I also love their small desserts (mini tarts are amazing) and their cake by the slice is a nice to enjoy a slice of cake without committing to a whole cake and a convenient way to test out a cake flavor. I do wish that the all the cake by the slice flavors were available as a whole cake though. Bakery staff is also very friendly and helpful! Their signature sandwiches are also delicious and a bargain at $10. Deli staff is also amazing along with the cashiers...the staff give the Fresno Whole Foods a welcoming neighborhood market vibe which is greatly appreciated! read more

There are so many things that I love about Fresno, a town I get to work in about 6-7 times each year, and now I've discovered my new all-time favorite Whole Foods! And it's in Fresno! What makes this one so special is it is fully stocked in every section, staffed with the friendliest folks, super clear and organized, plenty of parking, and perfectly big without being overwhelming or crowded. I found these ice cream treasures, too. Macaroon ice cream sandwiches are perhaps the best thing I've ever eaten!! I had the Cookies and Cream today. Heading back tomorrow to try the strawberry! I just came home from the bakery about 2 hours ago. I stood there for a good 10 minutes and the staff acted like they didn't see me. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that I am a person of color or that I have tattoos but after reading other reviews, racial profiling seems to be an ongoing problem with the Fresno location and it has been going on for years. Obviously this issue has not been corrected by the owner. I also saw multiple reviews stating just how awful the bakery is. Now I see why. When I asked who the manager was, the staff refused to give me the name. After seeing the multiple negative reviews about staff and the bakery, I will not be going to this location any longer. I will support local bakeries instead! Plus Jeff Bezos doesn't need any more of our money and Whole Foods uses seed oils..... read more

Although now owned by Amazon, I still love Whole Foods. I just don't shop there as often as I once did. The produce is the best in Fresno, but remember, you will pay for better so no complaining about the prices. I only buy meat from Whole Foods as it's humanely raised. This is where I can find lots of organic foods. The bakery has wonderful breads and I especially love their peanut butter cookies. Many food items, especially vegan, can only be found here if you are shopping in Fresno. Large parking lot. Plenty of service help. Clean store. It's worth the extra cost. read more

I just walked in to buy a whole family meal. They didn't have much of a variety which I understand. They probably sell out a lot. I usually don't leave reviews but I felt like this one was necessary. I went in the other morning to buy some flowers for my sister's graduation. I heard on TikTok that Whole Foods will wrap a bouquet for you as long as you purchase their flowers, so I asked the cashier and she said yes. I waited about 15 minutes for my bouquet to be wrapped because it was taken to the meat department back room. The employee brought this out to me and I was very disappointed. It shouldn't have taken 15 minutes, but it also looks like it was done by a kid. For being such an expensive grocery store, their quality has definitely gone down. My review is solely based on their cakes. I first heard about whole food's berry chantilly cake from my significant other. His coworker brought one into work for their luncheon one day. He praised how delicious it was. We decided to give it a try. Initial impression of the cake was it's not bad. A few days ago, I decided to go and get another one for my in law's birthday. To my surprise, you can customize by adding almonds around the cake for an additional cost of $5. It's actually not too bad compared to other places. The almonds added a crunch to the cake. It was delicious. The cake was moist and not too sweet. The icing around the cake was not overly done and it did not tasted heavy like some other places. Overall it was a good cake. I think that this store is very nice. I feel like everything is tad to expensive here so I prefer the farmers market but if you need something quickly they have everything you need. I come to this store every week. I know it's a little pricey but I get the things that are same price on another stores. They have great variety of groceries, fresh veggies and supplements that I can only buy here. They have variety of pastries and cakes as well. That was the first thing this store attracted me for. The quality of their cakes and desserts. They are known to use unbleached flour with sugar cane and no preservatives. I love getting birthday cakes here. The cream that they use to decorate the cake tastes very delicious! I also get my veggies that I need for my juice and the veggies for me to cook. Their veggies and fruits last me fresh for a while. While sometimes I get the same thing on another store and it gets spoiled very quickly. Their service is great the cashiers are friendly. There is not a lot of people when we go. We usually go after 3 pm it seems that at that time is pretty good to do our shopping. They also have hot deli where you can get pizza ready to eat and food already cooked. They have great variety from chicken to beef and fish as well. Different sides like veggies, salads, pasta and more. Very convenient. I really enjoy shopping at this store. read more

I visit Whole Foods every two to three weeks for groceries, never thought of getting coffee from here. Their iced brown cookie butter latte and honey vanilla latte is so freaking good! However, the employees making the drinks do not look very happy making them. It seems like it's an inconvenience and they verbally let it be known. Only location in the area so not much choice. Poor staffing, inconsistent hours. Staff at bakery and coffee shop are rude, often closing early before their posted times. Not worth the trip from outside Fresno. Even the manager shared the don't have the people power to maintain their departments for the times they should be open.
