Stopped in post run to try it, get a smoothie with some protein and carbs to refuel. The ladies did not know and could not point me to anything that showed the nutritional value of any of the shakes. Even when I was like what will have the most protein and carbs, or like what Herbalife powder is in it I'll look it up myself, they acted like I was being annoying. Nutrition is in the name - idk just won't be back. Smoothie ended up having Herbalife vanilla protein powder. Has a slight chalky aftertaste but is satisfying and priced about what I'd expect - $15 for a large. In response to the owner- She was looking at her phone, but I only got a bunch of umms and protein values for one size of a different drink. I pulled out my phone to show them my fitness pal thinking maybe that would help as a different type of communication and at the end of the day never got the information on protein and carbs in the drink I ordered, and again, they seemed genuinely annoyed and disinterested. Aight. As my kid said, "It's all right for what it is, but not for what it's pretending to be." We got the cherry limeade, and the ocean water fizzy waters, with reduced and no caffeine. The flavors are supposed to mimic the Sonic flavors, but they're kinda bland/flat. I was really looking forward to the coconut flavor of the ocean water, but it wasn't strongly present; neither was the blue raspberry flavor. The cherry limeade presented both cherry and lime flavors, but they were weak/watery, and left a chemically taste in the mouth afterward. Both drinks had the overly strong taste and mouthfeel of artificial sweetener, with that bitter flavor at the end, too. I think the fizz is produced by chemical reaction rather than actual carbonated water, though, because the ocean water wasn't very fizzy and the drink was chalky, just like the magnesium powder you can add to regular water does. It tasted like that, too, in fact--more like the citrus flavor of a magnesium citrate supplement drink mix than the coconut-blue raspberry of a Sonic ocean water. The peanut butter protein balls were pretty good for a mid-day snack, though: you can taste the protein powder, peanut butter, and honey. Not bad. The mini Reese's Pieces were a little treat on top. I might be back to try the shakes, but I wasn't blown away by my first meeting with Nutrition 402. read more

I stopped back in after a Yelp event because I was craving their energy tea. I didn't realize it would be come a (good) habit! It's so yummy and definitely give you the pep in your step you need. Based on my first visit, here's what you can expect: For $10-20, you get a tea and a protein based meal replacement shake. It's "healthy" in the GNC sense of the word, more than in the No Name Nutrition sense. The menu is kinda confusing, but the helpful staff will explain the options. There are approximately 5 zillion flavor choices. Note that the flavors come mainly from syrups, not fresh, whole ingredients. My Pineapple Crush tea was amazing: fruity and zingy. My PB Waffle shake was very good, but the flavor wasn't quite on par with a peanut-butter-from-the-jar + frozen yogurt smoothie. Holy Moly!!! I was not ready for the burst of flavor in my mouth! This place is awesome, something you would see on the coasts. It is a healthy, friendly, shake, bowl and tea quick stop shop. It's great for after working out or if you'd like to sit down and stay awhile and do some work. All shakes are protein powder based with ice only and are gluten free, except for 2 options! It's a chic modern vibe with a hint of coffeehouse so feel free to stay awhile if you'd like. I got the Almond Delight, it's not overly powerful in sweetness and hit the spot. We visited Nutrition 402 on customer appreciation day and loved being greeted with friendly smiles! The decor is kind of a laid-back country chic meets modern feel. The hubs and I really enjoyed sitting outside and talking in the fantastic weather over our drinks. Unfortunately, I really didn't enjoy the items that we ordered. The Donut Shot, PB and Waffle shake, and PB and Jelly shake all had a chemical taste to them. The PB and Jelly has the most chemical taste which I found off putting. The hubs said that he thought they were "okay." The shot and the shakes also left a chaulky feel in my mouth. The raspberry tea I don't think I can judge fairly. For some reason I thought I was going to get some sort of fruity refresher drink and what I got was a tea with a slight raspberry flavor. So, I did not enjoy it, however, I also mis-judged what it was. The people that would like this store the most are the ones that really like protein powders and flavored, bagged, teas. Bottom Line Up Front: TRY IT! They're amazing, and I think I may now be obsessed. After my workout at Impact Kickboxing (you can try 5 classes for $25, I LOVE it!), I was feening for a smoothie. Nutrition 402 was the closest thing that came up on Yelp, and another gym member told me that the coaches really liked it as well. So I decided I'd try it. The store is right next to Sports Clips, probably a quarter mile away from the gym. It was a bit hard to find, as they don't have a sign on top of the building, but there is one in the window. Which I saw after getting out of my car and hoofing it. The interior is cozy and modern, and they have A LOT of options. This isn't a fruit smoothie place, but a protein smoothie place. Which is actually better because there's far more protein and less carbs and sugar (Hallelujah). But I was still in the mood for something fruit flavored, so I ordered the Pineapple, Orange, Banana smoothie. Then the lady told me to pick a tea. I was confused at first, did the smoothies have a tea base? No. You get a protein smoothie and an iced tea. I asked if there were sugar or calories and she told me no. Schoooo sign me up! So I ordered the Green Machine tea (lemon-lime esque, not bad), which came out first. They had a deal that if you tagged them on social media they'd give you $1 off. So with that, my total was $12. There's different tiers on the tea menu that effect pricing, but it's $10, $13, and I think $15. I did the social media post without trying the protein smoothie first, and holy green guacamole, Batman, it would have changed my enthusiasm if I had. The smoothie was SO DANG GOOD! How do they make it so tasty?! Now I want more! I want to try different flavors and drown myself in their brotein (yes I said brotein) smoothie delights! Ugh, but I'm ballin' on a budget, so I have to be patient. My boyfriend who has been to Nutrition 402 said the prices on the teas are combo prices (smoothie + tea) and it's possible to get them separately, but I didn't see pricing for that. If you get and drink both it's quite filling and you'll be satisfied for a good bit. For 200 calories, you can't beat that. read more

I came back here this last Monday. Since the first time I came, the place is more furnished and thank goodness there is finally a sign! I don't know if I. Priced before, but there are outlets. So instead of grabbing my shake and tea to go, I decided to grab a seat and do some work there! They have a Holiday Shake menu and I snagged a Christmas Sugar Cookie Shake and a Lemon Tea. I enjoyed both! The Sugar Cookie Cake has some large sprinkles which gives you a soft smooth Shake with some hard pieces in it. Totally would have done without them, but the shake tasted great! I ordered the specialty tea, fruit gusher flavor. I got a level 3 or Beauty tea. It has collagen, aloe, and an energy supplement in it. There is no added sugar in it, it was very flavorful but I think the aloe gave it an even more interesting flavor, I've never had aloe before but I still drank the entire thing and wished I would've gotten a larger size. This is a great place to go before or after a hard workout. They have a large and delicious variety of shakes to choose from. The Strawberry Shortcake shake and Vanilla Cappuccino shake are a must to try. Every shake comes with tea beforehand. Personally, I like the Lemon Mango tea. Also, they have a lovely clean atmosphere inside with plenty of places to sit. My only quarrel is it is a bit expensive. I asked If their shakes contain dairy and they told me no. I was very upset to find out afterwards that was in fact a lie. Not only did I know by the way my body reacted to it but also because they use Herbalife products which specifically list "contains dairy, wheat and soy" on the label. Did it taste good? Yes.. it was delicious, but it also wreaked havoc on my body-- and the reaction is not worth it in my opinion, which is why I do not consume dairy. A really cool and unique concept in Omaha. There are several different flavors of protein shakes that you can choose from, all of which sound incredible! The same goes for teas as well. This place is amazing!! Me and my friend went here after school on a Friday, and now go there every week. There is so many options for the tea, and shakes. My personal favorite is the pretty in pink tea, and a snickers shake. There flavors are so bold! Plus their shakes and teas are so healthy and filling.
