When my kids were young it was Dr Orton we mainly saw at Parkview Surgery. She always had loads of time to speak and always had a welcoming smile that was an indication that that she would be full of care and compassion. She was a great advocate and had a wealth of information and knowledge to share, when I was trying with great difficulty to bring up a small baby and a toddler. I have no doubt that Doctor Orton is still the same and always has time for the patient. Unfortunately Doctor doesn't practice where I attend now and as I said I haven't seen her in many years. From my experience I would highly recommend Dr Orton.

We are from California and have had excellent massage therapy care over the years so we know a good one when we meet one. Menno is caring, kind and holistic in his approach to treating his clients. He carefully assesses your problem areas and treats the causes not just the symptoms. Additionally, he gives you stretches and/or exercises to help keep the problems from reoccurring. The building is supposed to be too old and inadequate for the future of the Centre but it seems fine to my eyes. It's never full, and doesn't seem at all shabby. Nevertheless, there are plans to relocate, and I hope they can do this without disrupting the services too much (or losing the Centre altogether - that would be awful). The appointment system has become a bit like ringing a bank, with a series of recorded messages to negotiate, and I think that's a shame. I'm also a bit unsure about the introduction of a nurse to take the place of the GPs on certain days - but those changes probably apply to a lot of other Health centre across the UK. I'm just very glad we have a doctor here in town at all.
