Not a lot of places open in Marshfield on Sunday night or Monday night. I went both nights. I had steak and shrimp on Sunday night. First off, the name is pretty great! There is a lot of parking outside. When you walk inside, you go up this ramp and then all the tables are gonna be spread out. It's a lot more roomy than you think. On the walls there's a lot of sports paraphernalia and a huge wall of beers that they offer here. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. The chicken was nice and crispy fried and I ordered onion rings with it because I do like the fries, but I really wanted something else. I also had a seasonal beer. I am honestly not sure what it was called, but it was amazing very flavorful and perfect temperature. My kids had two burgers and chicken tenders, which were all very hot and well-made. Of course if you drive by a place called Nutz Deep you have to stop in for lunch. We were in town visiting family and had heard this was a good spot for bar food. Our waitress was really attentive. She had good recommendations when my in laws had questions about various items on the menu. For my meal I got the chicken strip basket with honey mustard as the dipping sauce. They were a little more dense than I anticipated but we're good. The fries were really crispy and the honey mustard had a perfect amount of sweetness. I wish they listed their sauces on their menu so I could have seen other potential sauce options. My fiancé ordered the cheese curd burger. He really enjoyed it. I tried a bit and love the sauce it had, but the richness of all the cheese on it was overpowering in some bites. My in laws split a sandwich, so they brought it out cut in half on two plates, each with a big mound of fries. I tried calling in my order and was told I had to pay with credit card over the phone. I was not comfortable with that so I had to go inside and order from the bar. I was really craving a juicy greasy tasty bar burger but unfortunately I was not satisfied. My first experience at this place. I walk in and I was the only one eating but it said "wait to be seated." A tall woman with curly black hair said I could sit at the bar since it was only me. "They're still some sits seats there." Ok . There were not seats at the bar. Completely full. But a counter in front of the bat was open. 2 people were at one end and 10ft down another 2 people ordered food. Now, they're 4 chairs in between and you sit in front of a white board. I will emphasize that there were CHAIRS there. The area looked like you can just sit up at would be bar area expect your looking at a white board! . People come in and get served. I'm patiently waiting for 30 minutes. Seriously, no one came to say "hi". I'm just sitting looking at a white board. I would look at the waiters but they walked by so fast. After 20-25 minutes of looking at this white board and not being waited on, I decided to play with the white board. I'm irritated and board. I started scratching off the writing on the board because it was in permanent ink. I had to use my nail. I got away with this for maybe 5 minutes. (The bar did get a little quiet). This scrawny little blonde haired guy comes up to me and yells, "could you please mot do that"! He left to deliver food to someone. . When he came back I told him I've been sitting here for 1/2 hour. He said, "well this isn't even a place to sit to be served". Lets just think about that for a moment... I'm at a bar. They said I could sit at the bar but there wasn't room to sit at the actual bar. There are chairs sitting there. Now when I think, what I would do with a chair? A person would sit on said chair, correct? No one said "hello", " would you like something to drink"? NOTHING! Went there for lunch today and arrived at 11:30. Ordered the bacon Avocado Burger. Did not get my food until 12:45. The waitress was very accommodating and kept apologizing. When I finally got my food there was no avocado. By the time I caught the waitress who is very busy and said something I had eaten half my food because I needed to go and had waited so long already. The waitress said something to the manager who gave no compensation or regard to the situation because I had already eaten more than half of my burger. The waitress realize that something should be done because she asked about it and when the manager wouldn't do anything she told me not to leave her a tip to compensate me. It was clearly not her fault and I told her that and left her a $5.50 tip anyway. It should not be the responsibility of your employees to retain and satisfy customers. With a name like that, how can you not stop? I was in town for work and took a new hire here after we found it on Yelp. Didn't even read any reviews, went strictly based on the name. I have to say that it was a much nicer, cleaner place than I expected. Service was satisfactory, and the food was worth it. I ordered a Reuben, which stood up to my high corned beef standards. My teammate ordered the cheese curd burger and it was HUGE. It looked delicious and she said it was amazing. We also orders some fried pickles as an appetizer which were also delicious. Very cool little bar. Stopped in for dinner the other night and actually returned the next night. The bartender and servers were really nice, although they did slightly mess up my order on night 2.
