Couldn't recommend Mike over at a NuVision pools more for new pool construction. We have a pretty interesting shape backyard and had several contractors come over and all tell us the same thing, we could only put in a small rectangle pool and lose all this space in the corner of our lot. Mike came over took one look and immediately said "I would love to do a custom design back here to help maximize the space of your yard". We of course were excited to see what he came up with. His design was incredible and his pricing great and competitive and the best thing...he designs! He outlined everything clearly in his quote so you see exactly what you were getting and upgrade options available to you. Ben (head of construction) and his team took Mike's design and did an excellent job executing! From start to finish the pool was done in 10 weeks. We also had done new concrete and turf not even a year before the pool was done (yes we did in wrong order) so we were worried it would be destroyed but not at all everything was preserved and they were able to put the turf back no issues and no concrete damage which was amazing. Ben even helped arrange all the landscaping for us back by the pool with drip irrigation and wiring for landscape lighting etc. at a fantastic price. Mike truly is a super nice guy and his communication and the whole process was just a breeze and the final result is incredible. We interviewed about 8 local pool builders and decided on Mike after meeting with him and reading reviews. Mike is the kind of contractor you will set the standard for on all future contractors. He does what he says and follows through. He is involved throughout the entire process, is nice, genuine and truly cares that you are happy with the end result. His crew is talented and works quickly to ensure your project deadlines are met. From day 1 he listened to what our vision was, talked about how to best maximize our yard space and designed a beautiful pool to fit our space and vision. He is extremely knowledgeable on local codes and what will and wont pass permits--we had other contractors saying they could do XYZ which apparently would have never passed permiting with the city. His pricing is competitive and he doesnt nickel and dime the homeowner for things. He had us deal direct with certain vendors to save costs and didnt upcharge for things others contractors were trying to--we wanted a certain paver and contractors told us that was a "teir 2 paver or upgraded paver class" and would cost more, only to find out from Mike that the pavers in the booklet cost the same regardless. He has great attention to detail and builds the pool and chooses quality materials as if he were building the pool for his own backyard. He is honest, reliable, communicative and able to be reached via phone for questions. Could not have had a better experience. Mike listened to what I envisioned and provided a 3D drawing that was the start of making it happen. All other pool builders would do absolutely nothing unless there was a contract and large downpayment. Mike worked on faith and so did I. The result was a gorgeous pool and backyard that I just love and received so many compliments on during my first party. Mike's foreman and his crew anticipated so many things and laid the hooks in so when landscaping can in they had no issue doing the irrigation or lighting. The crew works long and hard to keep schedule. Could not believe we had a pool as quickly as we did. This company uses high quality materials throughout. I must say if you are going to do this don't skimp. The mini pebble is gorgeous and the smart technology so convenient. They do more than just pools. They built a pool, bbq, fire pit, did all the pavers as well as provided a great recommendation for landscaping. My pictures don't do it Justice. Let me tell you what a great guy Mike with NuVision Pools is and how he went above and beyond anyone else. We were looking for a house to buy that already had a pool, but couldn't find one that we liked in our price range. When it rains it pours as one day we saw 3 houses that we liked and put offers in on all of them. Before that, I had contacted about 4 pool builders to do some homework and figure out what to budget for a pool. Mike was the only one that gave me a ballpark number over the phone for what I described to him in what I wanted. All the others said to call when I'm ready. Mike said that when I find a house, to send him the address so he could check it out and see the backyard to let me know better. I am beyond disappointed by this business. I have contacted them so many times and given them so much time to provide me with a quote. They were referred to me by a friend. They came out in October to see my property and take measurements. I was supposed to get a design and quote by November. I reached out by text multiple times and was given so many excuses. Finding an honest and reliable contractor is stressful and you honestly never know what you will get even after meeting them. But from the first text with Mike we knew he was something special. The home came with a very raw backyard, which we were specifically looking for because we were on a mission to build our dream space. We interviewed 3 contractors. Two of them pitched a very simple rectangular pool, standard to their own companies. Mike took the time to walk our yard and work on a pool design specific to the space the yard offered. He also offered the best overall design for the entire backyard, including patio, landscaping, etc. Even though he doesn't do all of this himself, he has fantastic contacts and professional relationships with every type of contractor out there and they all work together very well. He initially came in with a landscaping crew who cleared the existing trees, masonry crew who designed and built the patio and BBQ, fence crew who helped with gates and fencing. He was quite literally a one stop shop! He made the process very easy to manage and was available to provide his professional advice on questions and decision making.
