I placed an order in October, checked in in November, December, January... Finally in February I asked to refund my order. Which then I get a UPS tracking number for my order. Yay right? NOPE! it's been a week since I got the tracking information and it still says the label is created and UPS is waiting for the package. Not sure why they offer to ship if they can't get it done right. Just poor customer service. **Updated** 3/5/21 Disputed my charge with my credit card company right after my last post and just received my box. the ice packs were melts, food was all soggy and there was zero padding. I ordered pasteles shipped to Ohio. They didn't have any flavor. They did not taste good. They barely had any filling, the outside was tough and rubbery. They were NOTHING like the pictures. I've ordered pasteles shipped to Ohio from other providers and they were much better and had better flavor. I certainly won't be back. read more

The email stated that order would be shipped out the week of January 14th. Its February and no pasteles. At this point I dont want it. The worst part is, she created a shipping label over a week ago and I have not received the product, considering I live 25 minutes from her. Like others, I placed an order that I never received. What's worse is that I didn't even get a response to several emails I sent. I placed the order (#2314) and received confirmation on 1/16/2021. I followed up on 2/10 and 2/16 and received no reply. Interestingly, their website has an apology from the owner regarding slower-than-usual delivery delays. However, I didn't get one nor did others here. One day, if she's still in business, she'll learn that it's good practice to reply to customer emails no matter the issue. My first order was delicious ~ hand delivered and fresh ~ I placed my 2nd order on 12/26... the shipping label was created on 1/10 and I received it on 1/18, over a week later and 3 weeks after my order date... everyone got sick after eating it... I think the food was old... and many of the containers (plastic containers sealed in food saver vacuum sealed bags) were broken~ so much food had pieces of plastic in it and had to be thrown away.... not to mention, several messages were sent to the company via email, their Facebook page and their website went unanswered... sad to see a business go bad so fast read more

Then all of sudden she makes a shipping label so you get a tracking number. It's to make you think she shipped it out. Buyer beware, if you want a long process to just get a refund. These people are the WORST and don't deserve the 1 star rating! Placed an order in November and I never even received a confirmation from the business. After contacting these ppl multiple times and complaining I finally received 1 item out of 7 three weeks later. I paid for expedited shipping overnight and they mailed the food 2 day with a frozen pack inside. Had to dump them out because they were mush!!! I made multiple attempts to find out the status of my order, but after 5 weeks and no response I submitted an official complaint with PayPal requesting a refund. Based on the reviews, it looks like I'm one of the lucky ones who was able to receive a partial refund. Even PayPal contacted the business and never received a response from them. What a horrible experience. These people are CONS!!! Do yourself a favor and find another establishment to order your puerto rican food from. Consider yourselves warned! read more
