Sure she recommended serum and I bought it, but what grew back, she destroyed. I did my research and sure enough it is highly recommended NOT to have group lashes glued to your lashes. I stopped going and waited 6 months before I had something for a true professional like Sexy Lexie Lashes to work with. I still have bald spots even after 6 months, but they are growing back. I just say "Buyer Beware!" Unfortunately single lashes is not what fell out, so I strongly disagree.

There was no apology for the inconvenience. The service itself did not meet expectations. My eyebrows were not done well and I had to fix them myself at home. My lash extensions began falling out the same day, and within 3-4 days most of them were gone. Some lashes were poking my eye and the glue caused irritation and burning. When I reached out, I was initially told I could come back in, but I was unable to get a response when trying to schedule. After multiple follow-ups, communication was inconsistent. At no point was there a clear acknowledgment of the inconvenience or outcome of the service. No apology. I paid $175 including tip and did not receive results that lasted more than a few days. She did give me a partial refund back. Based on my experience, I would not recommend booking here.

I looked her up on instagram "lashandfaceplace", and liked her work. She was very professional, and promptly responded to my Facebook messages and texts to schedule an appointment. It's great that she sends reminder texts the day prior to coming in. She is located at Sara's Beauty Suites, which is a building that consists of many mini suites inside. Be sure to look for #19 from the signs hanging above each suite. There is a private parking lot with plenty of spaces available. When I first walked in, Christy greeted me with a friendly smile. She listened to the type of lashes I wanted. I went for the natural look, something that was not too dramatic. She applied lash extensions attached to my own individual eyelashes. The entire process was non-stop work for 2.5 hours + with lovely music playing in the background - perfect for a cat nap. I felt very relaxed. Christy was very meticulous to get every detail right. My lashes turned out amazing. She even added beautiful lengths to the lashes. They really made my eyes stand out even when I'm looking tired. With these babies on, I don't need to put on mascara. I can just wake up, and be on the go. At the end of the visit, she gave me two brushes and educated me on how to keep the lashes lasting longer. The whole process was painless. Just a heads up that your eyes might be a little red afterwards, but that will resolve on its own. I am so happy with Christy's work that I have already booked my maintenance appointment with her. She recommends at least 2-3 weeks to touch-up on the volume of the lashes. You really do get what you pay for. Cheap lashes won't last very long, so it's worth it to pay for these. I highly recommend getting your extensions by her. She also does facials.

We arrived and got a free beverage which was yummy. I got a flavored tea. The prices are reasonable and cheaper than other salons. The salon is cute and super spacious with plenty of seats. My sister had a thing with her tech cause she didn't ask her which pedi package she wanted. The girl popped an attitude when my sister nicely asked her for the package she wanted. It was weird. I get so frustrated when massages aren't done properly or for the stated length of time. The menu says you get a 7 minute hot stone massage and mine was LITERALLY 45 seconds. I timed it. See photo attached. Like really? Plus the massages for lotion and sugar scrub were also less than 1 minute. We got mani's next and my girl was amazing. She is the manager of the store and so funny. I love how my nails turned out. I also asked for a mani and the dip but she explained they are not included which I learned! She asked how our pedis were and I was truthful. She apologized and ended up giving us a discount which was very sweet.

The next day, the area became painful and started draining what appeared to be pus. I'm now dealing with what seems to be an infection and have to seek medical evaluation. I understand that complications can happen, but I was disappointed by how aggressively my toenail was trimmed. I hope the salon takes extra care when performing pedicures and is more cautious with cuticle and nail work to help prevent this from happening to other customers. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision.
