I just bought a new home built by Ryan Homes. I'd like to extend my gratitude to the entire team for their professionalism, prompt processing and great customer service. I understand one's experience is highly influenced by the particular team involved in the home building and buying process. The project manager of the builder, John Marking was very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. My loan officer Bryten Ives, loan Processor Shanequa Rice, settlement processor Candace Malone and Sales and Marketing Representative Jennifer Conner formed a very very efficient team. I found my house at the end of May, settled and moved in by July 19th. I note that I requested the sale of contract to be rewritten and my financial statements are quite chaotic with lots of deposits and withdrawals so for someone with a simpler financial template the processing could have taken 2 weeks shorter. I received all documents related to purchasing the home and outlining my financial state in email. My 'ability' to return the same or next day all requested documents related to purchasing the home and outlining my financial state (i.e. esign or scan via a free app on android) allowed the team to work seamlessly to propel me into my new home. There are many hoops one has to jump through to get a new home, and most of them are regulations over which your seller has no control. I closed on my house two months ago and it was as smooth as it gets. I must admit that I was very skeptical of going with NVR and Ryan Homes due to all the negative reviews. My experience was very different. I signed my contract and was assigned Brittany O'ROURKE (loan Officer) who explained the process and all the documents to me in detail. Brittany gave me a list of what I'll need and by when. Christina Flore ( loan processor),Lauren Afdahl (loan processor) responded and let me know when they received my documents so there were no delays. Candace Molone (settlement processor) took her time and explained the title insurance because I was so confused. They were all amazing to work with and very professional. I was amazed. All questions were answered and every email I sent got a response in a timely manner. They were no delays in my process. My settlement officer was very detailed and explained everything to my understanding. If I had any questions he answered with patience. My entire process with NVR was painless. I would use NVR again and highly recommend them. Thank you NVR for making a stressful process so easy and manageable. PS: Advice to all, give them exactly what they ask for, when they ask for it or within the time frame that they give and your process will be painless. You are given an upfront list of documents you will need and by when, also if there is anything you need to fix. Plan ahead and do as you're told( e.g. don't accumulate more debt, it changes you debt ratios. If you statement says four pages, give them four pages even if it's blank, etc). I purchased a home in May of this year with NVR mortgage. My loan officer, Marcia Palmer, was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She was very knowledgeable about the process, worked diligently to keep things on track and was both personable and professional. I encountered a slight issue with paperwork that she quickly worked to correct and made sure that there was little to no delay in scheduling settlement for me. Kelly Landry, the loan processor and another NVR mortgage professional, was equally as helpful and enjoyable to work with. From my first sales appointment with Anthony Walters at NVR to my settlement date, I experienced nothing short of superior customer service that made the home buying process, though tedious at times, very enjoyable. The timelines presented to me about the home building process, the application process, and the settlement process were detailed and very clear. If I ever had questions or concerns both Marcia, Kelly and Anthony were always available to get me the answers I needed. The response time was amazing because I never waited longer than a day to get a response and they even responded on weekends which is not typical at all. I love my new home and the process I went through to get the home was as enjoyable as living in the home. I highly recommend NVR/Ryan homes as well as NVR mortgage company and will always be grateful for the assistance Anthony, Marcia and Kelly provided me throughout the home building/buying process. We're the Millers and Jessica Strober of NVR mortgage was an absolute rockstar! We got to know each other quite well. Our road to settlement wasn't as painless as we had hoped. We had signed our contract only to find out our firstborn was getting married. A wedding and a house, come on that's too much. It wasn't enough my husband tore his entire shoulder including the muscles that were connected to those ligaments. He had surgery August 1st and every follow up visit to the surgeon wasn't good news. Our beautiful home was built and ready earlier than predicted, Oct 15th. We needed my husband to be back to work for four weeks so we could close. However, during this time Jessica was so super helpful and was always willing to cheer us on. We had the wedding, which was beautiful. That was in November... January rolls around and still no clue when this was we could close. We wanted to back out of the contract so many times. Jessica wouldn't let us. She kept telling us, she knew what we wanted. We doubted that it would work out. So much time had past, our house was just waiting for us. Finally sometime in January my husband was able to return to work. We settled March 27th. I had the incredible privilege to work with a fantastic company for my first ever home purchase. This whole process was brand new to me and very fast regarding my home buying circumstances. I originally considered purchasing and customizing a Ryan townhome, but then another opportunity presented itself. The home I ended up purchasing was a spec and had to be closed within a thirty day time span. Everyone that worked for NVR services was incredibly supportive and thorough in the home buying process. My loan officer, Evan, was amazing throughout the whole process. The quick turn around for closing was not something he was particularly used to working with but exceeded my expectations every step of the way. Evan was very personable and his communication throughout the whole process was amazing. As this was my first time buying a home, I essentially knew nothing about the home buying process. He explained everything and kept an open line of communication at all times. We ran into many hurdles throughout the process, but somehow Evan was able to overcome those and still make it to settlement within 30 days. We built a new home with Ryan Homes and Michaelynn B. was our loan processor. If I have a single reason to get a mortgage with NVR mortgage in the future, that would be definitely our loan processor. She was always very response and organized. Michaelynn not only answered our emails in matter of minutes but also walked us through the process and explained to us how loan processing works. She went definitely beyond her responsibly as our loan processor and many times involved in helping us to solve issues that were not even related to her work. Once she didn't answer my email in less than a day and we got so worried that she may have left NVR mortgage so I called her office to make sure that she is still our loan processor. We were happy to hear from her that she was just in some training classes and that is why should couldn't answer our emails right away. If we want to go through the same process and get a mortgage from NVR then I will definitely ask for Michaelynn to be our loan processor, if possible at all. Home building is a very stressful process and we are very much thankful to Michaelynn for making the mortgage process very easy and free of stress. read more

1/5 Stars - Disappointing Experience & Rude Staff I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. Despite their office being less than 30 minutes from my home address, I was required to travel to Delaware to sign settlement papers. However, the process was marred by errors and poor communication. The first issue arose when I was told to return to the office because the Maryland office failed to send all necessary papers, and virtual signatures weren't an option. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find no representative present, and the signing process was conducted via teams with an off-camera representative. The paperwork had additional errors making the process over 2 hrs (on top of 2-3 hrs the previous day). To make matters worse, the company forgot additional paperwork and failed to communicate the issue with me. Instead, I received a DocuSign request without explanation. Throughout this ordeal, I never received an apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. Overall, I'm disappointed in the horrible customer service and would not recommend NVR Mortgage to others. read more

Kelli Cilurzo- A True Professional When I set out to build a home, I read the negative remarks about Ryan Homes and NVR Mortgage. When I looked closely, I noticed that many of the remarks (not all) were made by uniformed customers who simply didn't do their personal research or didn't pay attention to the details. All experiences are different, but I struck gold when working with Kelli Cilurzo in Springboro, Ohio. With her I felt comfortable to reside in with questions, obtaining important projections and rate options on a daily basis. Can you believe that? Daily, rate options were presented as the market changed. Because of Kelli, I was truly able to have a complete grasp of when to lock my rate. I hope she will be available next time, if I choose to move again. NVR gave us a closing date and stuck to it. There were no runarounds or cancellations. I have no complaints. Let me tell you about our experiences with Ryan Homes thru NVR Mortgage. We purchased a townhouse at Creekside Village and it is magnificent. We did two upgrades including a large deck and hardwood floors plus bronze fixtures throughout the house and tile upgrades to the bathrooms. The customer service is outstanding. Out sales Reps., Jill and Matt were so professional yet personal, very friendly, and went out of their way to help us find the perfect home. Our project manager, Gregg, took pictures of the building as it progressed. He also went out of his way to take care of our every need. He even invited us to walk through the house during several stages. But it wasn't just numbers, they actually cared and treated us as people. They really wanted to give us our dream home. I wanted this for my wife for our anniversary. It was an exceptional experience and I recommend NVR to anyone who wants the ultimate customer service experience. read more

These individuals were always professional, compassionate and always responded to our calls or emails with a 24 hour time frame. I had a delay in the build and NVR and Ryan Homes were clear in describing to me what the delay was and how long it will be.
