For me, Nicole started out with high energy and swift action, then resigned 90-minutes before the deadline she stated in her demand letter. She told me it was not about the merit of my case (which is a simple contract dispute with a rescue org) but rather that her mentor advised she gets "too emotionally involved in animal law cases" - her advertised specialty. Nicole told me the rescue group named in my dispute called the OR Bar, the Bar says this is untrue. Did a little contention and pushback scare Nicole off? Why did Nicole lie to me? I'll never know, and may never see my puppy again due to her negligence. Nicole Schaefer and Yellow Dog Legal get zero stars from me.

Greg Levinson had great reviews. So I contacted him thru his website, he contacted me back quickly, and it soon became clear I was working with an ethical, experienced and practical lawyer to get these vital documents done. We met on Zoom and he answered all my questions, including awkward ones like Should I include a clause in my will/trust that I don't want my child raised in the religion my sibling practices? Should I give my trustees a copy of the actual documents so they'd see the contents, or just tell them where to find my papers if I die? I felt Greg and I trusted and respected each other. Greg was very proactive and communicative even when I was kind of putting the project on my back burner. The end result of hiring Greg: I now feel secure with my documents. That my kid and other survivors will be protected if I die, and they'll know my wishes, and their administrative burden will be less than it would have if I'd continued procrastinating on my Estate docs.
