They have extended hours, staying open until 6:30 in weekenights, rather than the typical 5mor 5:30pm. My only complaint is the 2nd door to enter is soooo heavy and a challenge to push open for those of us with strength and shoulder issues. They should have a handicapped button to enable easy access for those in a wheelchair, and people like me with chronic shoulder issues. There is a ramp out front for those unable to climb the set of 5 steps.

As I grabbed the receipt from him i looked at his name tag and thanked him saying his name. He seemed caught off guard I can't remember his name...I'm not a Karen I swear I just expect decent customer service and like to share my negative experiences...He also asked "what are you doing?" As I was taking photos of my packages to send to my customers.... I've been utilizing this post office for years and the staff is always friendly and helpful. When I ask for the lowest price on return packages, they check various options without hesitation. While I've never used their passport services, which seems to be where issues are, I have bought supplies and sent out multiple packages, purchased holiday stamps and visit here to return prepaid packages - all with no issue and friendly service.

In addition to mailing packages, they offer the other services - printing, faxing, photos, etc., and supplies for purchase. No private parking lot, it's on street paid parking so for me, this isn't a destination, more of a convenience if I'm already shopping on NW 23rd.

The attendant will take the package and provide a receipt or you can use the easy kiosk for your transaction. Of course they offer all of the UPS services in addition to accepting the prepaid labels. Along the wall they have all the packing supplies you need - and even carry some designer bubble padded envelopes that are quite pretty, although I wouldn't want it sitting in someone's porch drawing attention. The staff was super friendly, welcomed me in, handled my transaction, and thanked me for stopping in. Since SW 5th is a one way street and a bus route, parking is only on the east side of the street. Just walk up to crosswalk at light to safely cross street, and the UPS store is right there, behind the bus stop.

My next stop was UPS who wanted $24.99. still too much. Decided to go to the US Post Office, which now I realize should have been my first choice, and the gentleman worked with me to find an acceptable delivery timeframe which allowed me to reduce the cost to just under $20 and arrive the return center well within the 30 day limit. The gentleman working was super patient, provided me with several options, and handled the transaction efficiently and with a smile.
